I know this seems pretty out there* but if God made all the animals on the earth and the fish in the sea and everything that flies in the air and creepth on the ground, do you think it’s possible that animals have some concept of a God or higher spiritual being. For some reason I find it difficult to believe that the concept of God is strictly in, of and for the sole domain of contemplation by mankind.

And no, I’m not a vegetarian.

*and I know some idiot is going to stop reading there and say it’s pretty out there or question my intelligence, I ask this with complete sincerity and soundness of mind.

Heres the situation, been living together for nearly 2yrs but gf will not give up old apt. Seems strange esp being that she only goes over to it once a wk to check mail *less than 5mins*. This apt isnt in the budget (as we are not wealthy), the rent has gotten behind (her landlord is understanding?) by a substantial amount. When asked why she wont let the apt go..i am struck with silence--no response at all! Which sends off crazy red flags. Please, let me hear some outside opinions on this one-- should be as interesting as my question!!

does anybody ever think how different their life might be if all the times you screwed up bad, you instead didn't screw up and everything turned out ok, you took the extra couple seconds and made the right descision instead of doing something stupid

I mean why do you think for example a 14 year old girl living on the street whit barely enough money to feed herself who has been rapped should be forced to have her life ruined as having an abortion you think would offend you fictitious imaginary friend? Why do you think a mother and a baby should die during birth as is sometimes the case. Why do you think a severely brain damaged baby who would have an appalling standard of life from it's illness should be forced to endure that? If you don't want an abortion fine but don't force everyone else to ruin their life as your imaginary friend might get offended. 1 happy life is worth more than 2 sad ones. Say no to jesus.

Just wondering what religious people think of ignostics, i know what they think of atheists and agnostics. But surely ignostic people must offer them a new perspective to argue their outdated beliefs against.

And don't just say because it creates life. How do we know that if you can't get pregnant "traditionally" that you weren't supposed to have kids? And in the case of multiples you often create "damaged" life. Is it really right to knowingly bring a child into the world that will only suffer? how do we know that this was not something of the devil? I know many ppl say "anything good is of God" but any christian knows that the devil is tricky, and can often pass things off and make them seem good.

There are many historical accounts all over the world that describes a civilzation that was lost in the great flood. The Egyptian and Mayan culture's brilliance sprang from nowhere. So could ancient Atlanteans, who survuived the flood, taught them technology unsurpassed even today? (--megalithic structures, stone cutting in micrometer accuracy, astronomical feats, naza lines, etc..)

I really don't get this issue. I heard one of the ladies that had like 5 or 6 babies, say that when they were given the option to have a "selective" reduction that they didn't want to play God. Yet isn't it kind of playing God, to have ivf, and other procedures done when you can't have babies?

I'm not a huge abortion advocate, but I do believe in freedom of choice. But I really don't get the difference. I mean yeah one is technically killing, but how is creating damaged life any better?
