does anybody ever think how different their life might be if all the times you screwed up bad, you instead didn't screw up and everything turned out ok, you took the extra couple seconds and made the right descision instead of doing something stupid

yeah--like that time three years ago that I was buying dollar scratch-off lottery tickets and had the five dollar bill in my hand for five tickets and decided to get a dollar Snickers bar and four instead at the last second----I was standing at the end of the counter unwrapping my candy bar when the dude that had been standing behind me took the one ticket he had bought to the edge of the counter--just before I started to step out of the shop door---the guy screams bloody hell----his scratch-off was worth 67,000 usd ---the only thing I have of this--is my now famous story about having had a $67,000 Snickers bar--and to me it still isn't funny--everyone else just loves it

Actually to tell you the honest truth right now, I have thought about this same topic many times. Its the "What if?" Factor. What if I would have done this or that differently. I wonder a lot of time if I would have changed this or that event what my life would be like. Would it be better or worse. But in order to do this you have to know what mistakes you have made in your life. Without know what mistakes you have made there can't be the "What if?" factor. The bad thing about the world today is that there are so many people that just cannot admit to themselves or others that they have made a mistake. So needless to say, I am honest and I let people know right off that I am far from perfect and I have made mistakes. The one mistake that I can honestly admit to is having my daughter too early in life. I am not saying that I don't love her and she isn't the most important person in my life, I just wish that I would have held off for a while and waited until my age right now to have a child. The other mistake that I will be the first to admit to is that I should have never gotten out of the US Navy. I should have stayed in another four years before becoming a civilian. Things are always brighter on the other side, and trust me, I have learned that the hard way.

What would be the fun in that? Almost everytime that I've screwed up it was because I was having to good of a time and didn't think of the consequences.
Regrets are for the week! Live! Learn! and just say oops and keep on trucking along.

Yes, but once the deed is done, you can't undo it. All we can do then is learn from our stupid decision and try not to do it again.
