Oh yeah. I have a neighbor that is always moaning, groaning and complaining about everything. She likes nobody, in fact I do not think she even likes her own self. She is just inhuman of any kind of emotions other than hate. If it is raining outside she complains. If it is cold outside she complains, if it is nice and comfortable outside she complains it is too cool. If it is hot outside she complains. She has two grandkids that she has nothing to do with because the grand daughter is over weight and she don't like fat people. Her grandson married a really nice colored girl and he is white and boy she complains about that. She never is happy about anything and so down on life. I do not believe she is happy about living as life does not kiss her butt.

My neighbor 2 doors down; we call him Hank Hill; He is definitely weird...mows his little 20 x 30 piece of lawn at least twice a week; if his grass isn't trimmed evenly, he'll be on his hands and knees with scissors trying to even it up; you can walk by him and say "Hi" and he'll stare; some days he talks....I don't know: looks like a nut: I've known him more than 30 years...

Right now, the rudest person I know is the woman who recently "appointed" herself to be the new director of the preschool I work at. She yells at the teachers and treats them unprofessionally, then plays miss perfect with the parents who come in to drop off or pick up their kids.

OOoooh! One of my favorite former co-workers to hate. Actually my most favorite. Little miss perfect. Acts like she's still in junior high and knows everything. Rolls her eyes constantly. Won't respond to people she doesn't like or feels superior to. Total can't-do attitude to the bosses. Says no to everything except her pet projects, which she glorifies. Gossips relentlessly. Wear "baby phat" shirts to important meetings. I could go on and on!

Luckily I don't have to work with her anymore, but I sympathise with all you out there who have to deal with people like that.

Thats not being rude. It being negative. Yes, many people are like that but mostly due to tragic events in their life..They are someone to feel sorry for and to pray for....

That's not rudeness, exactly. I think negativity is the word. I know two like that, one who's just dreadfully and chronically depressed, another who's actively mean-spirited and loathed by all who know her.

I work with someone like that. She is quite pushy and rude in her sales and she does not have a clue that she is living that way. It is sad
