Please say something more insightfully then, God works in mysterious ways, or, humans can't possibly understand the will of God

G*d does like the blood of the innocent to wash away the sins of man. It is why in the Old Testament you could sacrifice a calf and the fact that you had eaten pork or touched a girl while she was having her period would be forgotten. After the crucifixion, Jesus’ blood, the most innocent and pure that could ever exist, washed away the sins of man for all time. Therefore, the need for animal sacrifices has passed.

Early Christians did use sacrificial offerings, and the early Christians sects in Rome even adopted some of the roman pagan habits like orgies.

The Spanish catholic church tortured and killed thousands of people from the 15th century and was not totally suppressed until the early 19th century.

If god exists his teachings are interpreted by lots of different people who have lots of their own views which they use to put a spin on the teachings.

For another way of looking at this compare the terrorists of al quaida with a Muslim friend or acquaintance you have. They both have a Koran with exactly the same words in as each other, but they get completely opposing guidance from those words.

A perfect man was needed to match the perfect man, Adam. Since Adam and Eve both sinned before bearing children, there was no equal sacrifice on earth that could satisfy the ransom for mankinds loss of everlasting life.

Before Christ came to Earth to be sacrificed, sacrifices were necessary.

God sacrificed his only begotten son, Christ (and Christ willingly volunteered) because he was qualified as an equal ransom for Adam's blood. Once this sacrifice was completed, there was no other need for sacrifices.

So when it is said, that "he died for our sins", he died to pay the ransom of Adam's sin in the Garden of Eden that for which he plagued mankind with, which is death and inperfection (before Adam ate from The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Bad, death was not an issue -mankind was created to live forever on Earth). Because Jesus died that sacrificial death once and for all time, mankind now has the hope of being resurrected (if death happens before Armageddon) and living forever in perfect health with the use of 100% of our brain -not just 1/10 of 1%.

Wait, God never said He didn´t like the sacrificial offerings, it is necessary to our salvation, that´s why Jesus had to die on the cross, to clean our sins and then be saved.
But, God didn´t send Christ before because He wanted to give a chance to the children of Israel, and when they were disobeying God send His son; and another reason is because it was in the plan of the Lord make it like that in that age and not before.

Thanks

There can be no atonement for sin without a blood sacrifice. Jewish sacrifices used animals where other pagan beliefs used humans. Sin was not removed until blood was shed. However, we do not sacrifice animals any more for Jesus ended all blood sacrifices. God offered Himself through Jesus as the Lamb of God. Once Jesus was sacrificed His blood removed all sin from all sinners if you believe that Jesus was who He said He was and you accept His sacrifice for your salvation then there are no more or higher sacrifices that or will be made for you. No animals need be sacrificed any longer for they do not meet the need of redemption. God's nature requires sacrifice in our lives to serve Him. Sometimes our lives are given for the Gospel as is being done each day in many countries of the world. God does require sacrifice it just isn't always your blood or life.

If by skill of sacrifice you advise the sacrifice of an animal, it really is strictly prohibited interior Christianity. Islam, as I understand, has never had the concept. And there are purely an extremely few Jews who do, and there is a more suitable-or-a lot less regular ritutal, even if it ought to decision reckoning on the fellow. there isn't any company style of sacrifice between Jews at present.

Up to the time Christ was crucified, they were still making sacrifices. Have you heard of Passover. That is when the Angel flew over the house of the Jews and looked for the blood of the sacrifice on the doors of their houses.

Before Christ came they had the sacrificial system in place to atone for sins and get to heaven, different sacrifices for different sins. After Christ, He gave His only begotten son to atone for our sins, the blood of Jesus is Holy Blood, so it was good enough to pay for our sins forever. Therefore sacrifices are not needed anymore.

Because things in the bible change with time. Since most people are not farmers or even own live stock, there was a change to go with that. People are still asked to give offerings, but instead of offering 10% of your stock, people are now asked to give 10% of their earnings. If you find some really old bibles you will find that they have changed to suit the times. Like in the King James bible written before the 1960's in Ephesian it stated "slaves obey your masters". After 1970's it was changed to "children obey your parents". It is funny that God is against killing, but loves war, which kills. He does not think you should have sex with your neighbors wife, but it is okay to have more then one wife in some religions. He wants you to be kind and fair, but it is okay to own slaves.

I think that God doesn't like pointless and meaningless sacrifices that are done just because they are "supposed to be done." People were treating sacrifices (which have a rich tradition in Judaism) almost like magic tricks or payment instead of an offering that was symbolic of greater action.
