I was thinking about Tom Cruise and his constant (and annoying) campaigning for Scientology, when I wondered, what is Scientology? What are their beliefs? Obviously they don't believe having a child out of wedlock is some kind of wrong. But anyway, what do Scientologists believe in?

they seem to feel that they must force everyone to believe that they believe. that they are completely right in every respect. they go to forign lands what convert native people. they are ruining the culture and diversity of the world. why cant they let people believe what they what they choose instead of forcing their beliefs upon others, and dont give me that crap about sharing the word of g-d and them needing to realize that he is the true savior. im sick of it. when was the last time you saw a jewish guy going around trying to make everyone jewish. you dont! why cant you all just live and let live.

In other words, will people that believe in God, but don't steadily attend church service, will they go to Heaven? What if we just pray in our 'spare time?' Yes I do believe in God but why should i listen to other imperfect humans preach about him, when I could just have a direct relationship with Him? (Sorry there's about 2 different parts to my question)

Why does it seem that all country's that are predominently Muslim behave so violently and intolerant to other's as well as their own? I am curious. I am not trying to be rude or anything but I have notices that it just seems that way, Notice I said Seems. I saw a picture that showed a 8 year old boy getting his arm crushed by a car tire because he stole, they did not say what he stole but the law of Islam demanded he have this done. Was this extreme or the norm? do they fight within as well as without? it just does not strike me as a peaceful religion.

I work in an office with 4 other women. We have no dress code...one of the women whom is over 40 wears clothes that are enitrely too young for her and not appropriate for office attire. Most of the time her stomach shows and when she bends over or sits down you can see the crack of her "Butt". She and my boss are friends...this makes it very difficult for the rest of the office assistants to discuss this matter. We are totally embarassed by her clothing and can't understand why she doesn't see that she is making a spectacle of herself! Can anyone out there give me any ideas on how or what I can do to open my bosses eyes to see that this is totally unappropriate without causing an uproar with the rest of the employees.

I mean... don't they have minds of their own? Just because their "organazation" says it, does that make it true? It is very sad that someone can be brainwashed like that. I feel sorry for the children that are brought up in that. I am not saying they are evil..just very mislead..i know a girl who is a witness and she is very nice. But really they act like robots.

i dont understand them. they call themselves jews but they believe jesus was the messiah. that is a definate conflict of beliefs. why dont they just realize that they are christian and quit making real jews look bad.
