I am afraid you are mistaken.

Messianic Jews are most truly authentic Jews.

My experience with Messianic Jews has shown them to be more Jewish (in cultural practices, knowledge of the Torah and Tanach, obedience to G_d) than cultural Jews, the majority of whom appear to be agnostics and some of whom are atheists.

No offense meant.

In general, Judaism is (a) a religion, and (b) a culture.

Some people ofJewish heritage mistake the culture for the religion. To do so is a mistake.

It is indeed possible for a Sincere Committed Jew to come to the rational conclusion that Yeshua (Jesus) is the Jewish Messiah.

Cordially,
John

The Seal of The Messianic Church

EVIDENCE THAT THE EARLIEST CHURCH IN EXISTANCE WAS JEWISH

One of the strongest evidences for this is the presence of many artifacts, clay pots, and lamps, which are engraved with what has come to be called the SEAL OF THE MESSIANIC CHURCH.

The seal has been copyrighted as " Seven Branched Candelabra/Star of David/Fish"

A book entitled "The Messianic Seal of the Jerusalem Church" by Reuven Efraim Schmalz and Raymond Robert Fischer has been published (Olim Publications, P.O. Box 2111,Tiberias, Israel.

Top of Seal see the Seven Branch Candelabra that stood before God in the Temple.

Below that, see the Star of David, which is from the 7th century BC. It is composed of two interlaced, equilateral triangles or DALTHA (D for David). "A star shall come forth from Jacob, and a scepter shall rise from Israel" Numbers 24:17.

Below the star is a fish which is an early Christian symbol in Israel. It was transported to Rome, and by 150 AD. Clement of Alexandria suggested to all his readers that they include the sign of a fish in their personal seals to identify them as Christians. Later the Greek spelling for the word fish ICHTHUS was incorporated. The first five letters of the words that spell "Jesus, Christ, God, Son, and Saviour."

In the Messianic Seal, the cross appears as the Hebrew letter TAW.

The artifacts were discovered in 1990 by Tech Oteeoos, a 90 year old Greek Orthodox monk, in the vicinity of the, what is believed to be, the original Church founded and pastored by James the Just, the half-brother of Jesus. When the actual grotto was excavated by Oteeoos, numerous inscriptions were found on the walls. The period of its use on Mount Zion could only have been from the crucifixion in 30 AD to 135AD.

Christianity is completely different. Christians don't practice the same religious feasts as Jewish people do and Christians celebrate pagan holidays and call them Christian holidays. (Easter & Christmas) Messianic Jews observe the Torah and the feasts and Jewish holidays with the exception that they believe Yahushua (Jesus, which isn't even his real name if you read in the original Hebrew) is our Savior and will come again.

Jews can't be Christians anymore than oranges can be apples. Messianic Jews are "completed" Jews, which means that they have finally had the veil lifted from their eyes to see the truth. In their zeal to help others see the truth, they often use poor judgement, just as new Christians do. It isn't meant to offend Jews. Truth is what it is and they finally see it. They're so excited, they want to share it. Does that help you?

In a way i think they are. different Christian communities have traditionally tried to rework Jews with the help of stress, and characteristic murdered Jews for not replacing. The Christian communities who call themselves "Messianic Jews" more often than not concentration on replacing Jews, yet they don't do it by ability of violence. The "Messianic Jews" opt to apply lies, deception, dishonesty, misquotes from Tanach and different underhanded ability to rework Jews to their branch of Christianity. So i think the "Messianic Jews" are peace loving in that they don't look to be violent. nonetheless they heavily opt to verify themselves and what they are doing, and purely go away actual Jews on my own.

amen!
Its not just that they want to form a hybrid jewish-christian religion, they are specifically going out of their way to appear jewish. Just look at jews for jesus or any of these groups, they use modern symbols of judaism to bolster their claim of being a jewish sect. I have respect for normal christians who are at leaset upfront about who they are.

It's interesting to me that you are trying to subsume Judaism with Christianity and show irritation because Jews won't allow it when Muslims are doing the same to Christianity.

Same relationships Judaism to Christianity as Christianity to Islam, same intolerance
