I feel no sympathy for their religion. I do feel sympathy for the people that were killed in the Holocaust. However, everyone seems to omit the fact that it is believed more Catholics died in the Holocaust then Jews....

What did the Jews do to Jesus? A man tells the Roman people that they have a new ruler and it's not the emperor. Did you think he would get away with that? The Romans hung him as a common criminal.
If you don't feel some pain in your heart that a power hungry man, crazed by illness, got his country stirred up by fear and hate so they would follow him and invade other countries, kill millions of people and destroy unimaginable amount of property and then systematically build gas chambers and torture chambers to murder 6 million Jews, Gypsies, gay men, the sick and infirmed, and many others, you have a problem sister.
A couple of you are really sick- unknown, gremusfratres. fanen3 just got too much bible preaching to think clearly..

You DO know that it was the Romans who actually killed Jesus, don't you, or are you really as ignorant as you sound. Apparently there are others here who are just as ignorant about the Holocaust. unknown. did you not take any world history in school, or are you just a moron. Do you for one minute believe that the parents didn't fight having their children torn from their arms and killed. Have any of you ever met a holocaust survivor? You might want to find a jewish nursing home, and talk to a few old people.

The Jews made the Romans kill Jesus, because they did not want a new religion to come after. They do not believe in Jesus. Jesus is not a Jew, he is Christian, he came to bring Christianity. But i do not be live the Holocaust was necessary.

Actually it makes me MORE sympathetic. They did the holy work of God by urging the Romans to crucify Jesus. If Jesus had NOT been crucified, he could not have died for our sins, could not have been ressurrected, and there would have been no Christianity. The Jews assisted in the holy work of making sure God's prophecy and Jesus' destiny was fullfilled. Imagine for a moment if they had done nothing.

has it ever occurred to you that the jews who lived 2,000 years ago are actually entirely different people than the jews who were killed by the nazis 60 years ago??!!
since when is it ok to determine the fate of certain members of a group of people based on the actions of OTHER members of that group.
i'm white, but i will take great offense if anyone ever dare call me an indian-killer, a slave-owner, or a jap-bomber. the same should be said of jews in the holocaust. they are their own people. they are not an extension of their ancestors.

I am very sympathetic/ empathetic to what happened to the Jews in the Holocaust.
Both Jews and Gentiles (all of us) are ultimately responsible for Jesus' death on the cross.
The individuals who nailed Jesus to the cross were gentiles.
Cordially,
John

No. They were simply the people to whom He was born into. It has nothing directly to do with them being Jews or not. They could have just as well been pagan or false god worshipers.
And it was the un-Christian, un-believing Romans who allowed it to happen, not the Jews. The Romans were in charge of the law.

Good God NO!
Evil men crucified Christ as lackeys of the Evil One.
Just like Evil Catholics were in charge of the Inquisition, and evil fundamentalists were in charge during the Salem witch trials. I do not conclude that The Catholic church is Evil because it had some Evil dark ages Popes etc... Nor do I consider Fundamentalist Christians evil because some got hysterical in Salem.

THE JEWS did not kill Jesus!
The High Priest and gang at the Temple had to get rid of HIM because HE was telling people that the Temple had been corrupted and the Priests were more or less phonies. Don't blame all Jews.
Hitler and gang of SS killed millions of Jews. THAT DOES NOT MEAN WE SHOULD HATE ALL GERMANS FOR EVER MORE does it...................same thing.

No one killed Jesus. Jesus said so himself. So I don't want to hear any more about the Jews killed Jesus, or the Romans killed Jesus. If anyone would know who killed Jesus, it would be Jesus, the star witness in this case.
"As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. NO MAN TAKETH IT FROM ME, BUT I LAY IT DOWN OF MYSELF. I HAVE POIWER TO LAY IT DOWN, AND I HAVE POWER TO TAKE IT AGAIN. THIS COMMANDMENT HAVE I RECEIVED OF MY FATHER."
Does anyone actually READ their bible? And the rest of you who like to stir up anti-semitism, you need a clue BIGTIME! Get this:
And the King shall answer and say unto them, "Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done unto one of the least of these my brethren (the Jewish people), ye have done unto me." Matthew 25 : 40
What is this then that is written, the stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. Luke 20 : 18 (in street language, this is saying: if you fall on your knees before the LORD Jesus Christ and admit you are a sinner in need of the Saviour, you [your selfish will] will be broken, but if you don't surrender to his LORDship, His judgment to come will fall upon you and it won't be pretty.)
