A smile from a stranger, a compliment, manners ,waking up in the morning seeing the face of loved ones, enjoying life to the fullest no stress no sadness, just glad to be alive. Most of the things in this world make me happy, a flower in bloom, trees bright green leaves, innocent children playing, sun shine, rain stars at night, moonlight on the ocean there's no need to be sad as happiness is free and can be found anywhere.

I believe we are born with happy genes, and I've been happy all my life. No matter what I have to go through, or suffer, or anything, I always am able to pull out a smile and be happy I'm alive and healthy. I'm incredibly healhty to be as old as I am and I'm thankful for that. I'm happy to be alive in this era and learn all I'm still learning. Not a day goes by that I'm not learning something. I was watching Reba the other night and she and Barbara Jean were at a bar and eating Jello shots. I had never heard of Jello shots so I went on line and found a bunch of recipes and I've been happily making all kinds of Jello shots for days! They are wonderful!! My favorite are Margarita ones with lime Jello, and orange jello with Grand Marnier and triple sec. I am also happy playing with my 2 black labs. One's 8 and he weighs 122#. He's a great big puppy, and my baby weighs 60# and she came from a dump and is part Rhodesian Ridgeback and Black Lab. She's sooo cute and so funny and my male just loves her. He's fixed and so is she so they can't make puppies. It makes me happy to wake up to it raining, as here in Oklahoma it hasn't rained much for a long time and we have a drought. I love to see the sun shine and the birds eat the feed I put out for them. I enjoy helping people and believe me, there's always somebody to help. I'm happy my son has come out of the coma as he attempted suicide and he has no brain damage--God wasn't done with him and when he came out of the coma he had no desire for nicotine and he had no back pain, which he has 5 degenerated disks. God works in funny ways and I'm thankful for his good health. I liked your question. I wish more people could be happy by just being alive.

Simple things make me happy, some of them are as follows:
- Hearing my daughter's voice on the phone.
- Knowing I can be responsible to my mom and some relatives.
- Seeing my dogs play close to where I am at.
- Brand new mornings.
- Filipino food I cooked myself.
- Being with friends I have close relationships with.
- Finding great finds at the cheapest of places.
- Watching Friends and Scrubs again and again.
- Knowing that I am guided well in the path I have chosen.
- Knowing that happiness is a choice I can make, over and over again.

My daughter's smile and big brown eyes. She's too young to talk but when she does and says I love you daddy that will top it all.
