Just ignore it. There is not much that you could do that would not be offensive. So just be polite to your co-workers and be glad that-that is the problem instead of the numerous more worrisome ones that could be happening in the office. You know what I mean??

I don't really think it's your business what your colleague wears to work. If there is no dress code and the boss sees no problem with it I don't see why you should do anything about this.
But if you're desperate to do something, start a discussion about clothes sometime, talk about what you like and don't like and get some more colleagues (including the one whose clothes bother you) to chat about it for a while or talk about clothes you just bought or something. Maybe during that talk you'll get the chance to subtly hint to her that her clothes aren't really appropriate.
Or if you know each other more, ask her an some other colleague if they don't want to go shopping together sometime and then you can tell this woman what would look great on her. If she doesn't agree and really likes what she wears, I think you should just accept that and get over this. There's no reason to insult her just because you don't share the same taste.

Well, this isn't really your dilemma now is it? Now if there was a strict dress code, you'd have something to back yourself with to ask her to change her style. But as her friend, you can suggest going shopping together on a weekend and pointing out things that would really flatter her (age and body wise). Other than that, contact WHAT NOT TO WEAR... Once she sees herself in the 360 degree mirror she'll see what a spectacle she's making out of herself hehe!

Since it is not your company where do you get off being so self righteous about who is dressed properly and who is not. Are you highly educated in fashion or just an opinionated buffoon who thinks because you do not like what she wears she ought not wear it. It sounds to me like you are just a regular office worker with not an ounce of authority to tell anyone what to do or what to wear. Lord if you are the future of our work force we are in deep trouble .

You should contact What not to Wear in TLC.. They are experts in solving your problem while they completly ridicule the person in National TV. Hey at least she makes out with a whole new wardrobe (5.000 Dollars) and your problem will be gone...

You could invite her to go shopping with you and give her tips (just like you would if you were with your gals and you were trying on skirts i.e. That one is okay, but THIS... this would look amazing on you. It is very flattering to your figure).
If that would make you uncomfortable, make sure you mention it on the days when she looks more appropriate. We like to be complimented and she may slowly evolve her style to keep getting your approval.

I think this is not your dilemma. If your female colleague didn't ask you for advice on how she should dress, so probably have her own idea of what looks good on her not what you think it looks good on her. Got it?
