If you believe, is there a way to avoid the influence of both angels and demons?

There May be a possibility that you are a 'chosen'. A Healer, See-er, Messenger, Gaurdian, or a combination.

I was raised as a Catholic and during my Teens had enough of religion being shoved down my throat. I lost faith in the Catholic Church as I knew it, but kept my faith in the belief there is someone watching over us.

I do believe there is a War between the Demons and Angels, and that some people are involved in the battle but not in the sense of a physical fight.

I met a Messenger some years back who introduced me to some of her friends. I thought 'Whack -jobs' but as I got to know them, I grew to like them. They did not impose thier beliefs on me, nor discussed their beliefs in front of me. I happened to walk into one of the rooms in thier house one day and saw some books on the shelf. Some where religious, others were of Wicca, some were of Jah and of Sai Babba. I asked about it and they told me of the Battle between Angels and Demons, (not Devils for some reason) They explained that they could sense I was a Gaurdian and Healer, but wanted me to find it out in my own way and not influence me in any way. I am a firm believer of the cosmic and a very level headed person. I believe we all have a purpose on this planet and we choose our own path.

You can fight the fact you want no part in the war, but its best to acknowledge it first, then they might leave you be.

Live your life as a good person and how you wish others to treat you, you can ignore the war, but you need to aknowledge its there first.

Just by being corked up in a three-dimensional body (which you chose to do by the way), you are subject to the influence of both; be they the common spirits or subangels in the Lower Realms of Spirit as well as the basically spiritual discarnates or angels in the Mid Realms.

The only way you can truly end their influence on you is if you evolved into becoming a Saint, i.e., you raised your Dominant Aura Color - which is currently yellow - to being either sky blue or white. You do this by striving to live by The Golden Rule, by serving others, and by Radiating Love and Compassion daily.

Then, when you leave your body and experience a panoramic life review, you will be able to ascend beyond the Lower and Mid Realms to the Higher Realms of Spirit, where the discarnate Saints dwell. In which case, you will be on a higher vibration in The Light - which also means being unseen - than the angels and common spirits.

Well, if they do exist (they do) then angels (spirits) are what you were before you were born. You have no choice, but free choice to do right and follow angels or wrong and follow devils. There is no way to avoid choice. If you thought that you avoid them by sitting in one spot never moving again then you choose a bad decision. Doing nothing for a long period of time is being idle and that is what devils want you to do. By doing nothing you aren't helping to bring people back to the side of good.

Even when you serve needy ones here one earth you're following the example of Jesus, the Son of God.

No. Angels exist, so do demons. They are called the powers and principalities of the air. Some people have seen them. Some never do. Denying their existence is futile--they do exist, they are constantly at work 24/7/365. Demons exist solely to help Satan destroy you and your life. Angels war against them for your good, most especially if you ask God to have them help you. But never pray to them. Always ask Jesus to send them to help you.

If they exist, nothing you can do about the demons. So the real question becomes do you really want to fight the demons alone?

well, really there is no way to avoid the influence of heaven or hell. all of our lives are guided by influence. "we're born capable of doing terrible things then something else comes along and gives us just the right nudge". that nudge will decide whether you turn good or evil.
