If Eve came from Adam's rib and everyone that's ever been born had to have come from the initial union between Adam and Eve:

* How can we account for the fact that everyone born since then wasn't born with genetic defects, which at some point very early on, would have let to the extinction of our species?
* How can we account for variety of races on the planet (black, white, Chinese, Spanish, Indian, Mongol, etc. etc. etc.) if we all came from the same two people (really one, when you consider that Eve came from Adam)?
* Basically, how can we account for so much genetic diversity in people if the initial gene pool was so small to begin with?

Employers need responsible employees right? I purchased my own computer so I could surf the net, but can't find a computer job because I have no training in the field. Yet others waste their employers time to be jerks in here? Don't you people know that Karma really works? Someday soon your time will be wasted if your not being wise with someone elses time.

not to say all islam is but just take the riots that occured last spring ( i think correct me if i'm wrong) over a stupid cartoon that a danish newspaper printed. sure it's bad to do that but you don't have to have mass riots over it and burn an embassy.

Was talking to a friend about a unique experience and her husband overheard me. He said, "What do you expect. You were at a lesbian party."... like a lesbian party meant an orgy or something. FYI, a lesbian party is just a bunch of women standing around talking and playing music...

Get the idea? A lot of ppl do this. Like if you look under the lesbian, gay, ... section here in yahoo answers, you find some perverted sex questions all by MEN. All that does is paint a perverted picture on our lifestyle. We are normal ppl with normal lives... go to work, etc...

I know a lot more straight ppl that have had perverted sex than any of my lesbian friends. All my lesbian friends, myself included, have never had any desire to have a 3some or some nasty male in bed with us.

Do men make the the correlation between lesbian and sex because they think all women evolve around their penis and just exist to please them?

I am unwilling to believe in a world without right and wrong.
I would like an ethical system that is rational and not in any way faith or fear based, and clearly defines right and wrong.

About a week and a half ago my last boyfirend and I broke up. We had been dating for 4 months. I cared for him deeply and did everything I could to save the relationship. However, he would no open up and talk about anything even after it was over. He stated" he was not ready for a relationship, and doesn't know when he will be". With that said I went out and that weekend and laid on the charm and flirted with the cute guys. I exchanged my number at least twice. Basically I got back out there in the dating pool. I now have several guys interested in me.

However, a friend stated to me "aren't you rushing things? Don't you need time to heal"? I guess she expected me to be in morning over my ex for a long period of time. Sit at home and eat myself into a a hippo. Was I wrong fro moving on so quickly. Refusing to allow this man who didn't want me anymore to ruin my chances of finding happiness? Can I not continue on in my life, and heal slowly as well?

Freedom of religion does NOT include freedom from criticism. When your beliefs defy the laws of physics or nature---liking talking snakes--it is simply ludicrous. It is equivalent to adults believing in Santa Claus. So now that Al Queda and later W. Bush have both demonstrated, once again, to the world the dangers of ignorant, primitive,superstitious, anti-intellectual, racist, sexist, ethnocentric nutball religions, DO NOT THINK YOUR BELIEFs DESERVE to be respected. I do at my gym or when using a public rest room. I thought I was like the only guy that did. But I have noticed that other guys do too at my gym. It makes sense - hands get diry and if you have to wipe your self - you don't want to give your self anything. Plus - this is at a gym. Everyones hands are on the same weights all the time. Plus I always either wipe the seat with a soap towel or cover it with tp.

How many other people are like this, not at all like this or are way cleaner than me?

she was taking several milligrams of Xanax daily and the doctor said she couldn't get off of it immediately without it causing seizures, and the pharmacist and doctor both assured her that the baby would most likely have birth defects because of the amount of Xanax. If it were you, would you abort, or would you have the baby, knowing that your Xanax use would most likely cause it not to have a good life? Why or why not?

in a recent posting, i asked what people made of the fact that the birth-date of Jesus (Dec 25) coincides with that of several other mythical saviors - only to be informed that

a - Jesus was not born on Dec 25 (more like late June)
b - the bible makes no mention of his birthday

This leads to two more questions:

1. When is his birthday (and I am really interested in sources here, preferably NON biblical ones)
2. Why does Christianity celebrate his B-Day on the 25th, if they think he was not born then.... and here i am not looking for the Christian perspective - I am familiar with the non-christian reasoning as to why Dec. 25.

I know it might be a bit much to ask...but can we keep this one to the facts and not turn it into a big 'fire and brimstone' session?

for those ppl who HAVEN'T read my post b4....
well, i'm south asian,(filipino, thai, cambodian, and singaporian). Right now i'm going out w/ this black guy.

we been going out 4 like 2 months now, he thinks we should move up a level in our relationship and start having sex and stuff. i'm only 14, and he's 17, u might think we are too young. but where i live, we got gurlz that are pregnant when they're only10. so it's not abnormal for a 14 year old to have sex. AND I REallY LIKE HIm! but the problem is my mom doesn't kno we are going out. SHE IS RACIST and thinks going out w/ black guyz would get me raped and pregnant. SHE WOULD NEVER approve of our relationship. so far she doesn't kno we are going out. But if i hav sex w/ my man and i get pregnant, SHE'S GONN KNO!!! and she would kick me out for going out w/ a black guy and getting pregnant! But i really like my man, and i dunno wat to do. have sex or not have sex? HELP!!!!
