I am interested to know if you volunteered for community service in any way before. We are compiling a volunteer programme for a South African organisation and would like to establish the reasons for volunteering. How did you volunteer, and Why?

Essentially, the term is used to describe any one of a number of activities where a non-Christian (or person not involved with a particular sect of Christianity) indulges or imerses themselves in activities, literature, and media of a given sect of Christianity which they perceive as strange, bizarre, or off-beat, for the sole purpose of having fun at the expense of that sect of Christianity.

I work at Wal-Mart, and am aware that, although they bring a variety of products and services to an otherwise under-represented class of persons their policies and practices are destroying local economies and are likely damaging to the larger American socio-political economic system.
Is there something unethical or contradictory in working there over the summer to pay for my liberal (often anti-WalMart) education during the school year?

Right now I'm about 98% sure God and Jesus are non-existant. But that 2% keeps nagging "what if you're wrong". Can I still call myself Agnostic or do I have to commit to Atheism?

How can it be said that God is a forgiving God when he wiped out over 99.999999% of the world's population with the great flood?

Were they all bad people?

And if so, why couldn't some of them have been forgiven?

Assuming that the story of Noah is true, and that there were a limited number of people (likely from the same descent/ethnicity), animals and plants on the boat:

* How can we account for variety of races (black, white, Chinese, Spanish, Indian, Mongol, etc. etc. etc.) if we all came from the same few people in Noah's immediate family?
* How can we account for the millions and millions of species of animal, reptile, insect and plant life on the earth today, assuming that Noah didn't have access to life in disparate parts of the world and thus would not have been able to save all of the diversity of land-based life that existed on land before the great flood?

Universal moral law has obviously changed over the last couple of thousand years.

God's moral laws haven't changed, but the universal morals have.

That means our morals are not anymore like the way God created us? have morals evolved? did God plan that? or is this simply caused by evolution?

Why have so many different species in so many different parts of the world? Why not just one species of ant, fly, mosquito all over the world? They all serve the same function, so why all the variety?
