Why did GOD JIREH give so much POWER TO SATAN?

Very simply put: because God is God.
Really though, Satan is not as powerful as some may think, and Satan is most certianly NOT God. Saying Satan is God is like saying black is white. If you study the Bible, it explainsexactly what Satan used to be and what he is today. (you being a general reference.) Satan's name used to be Lucifer, and the Bible clearly states that he used to be an angel. More specifically, he was part of the top echilon and was called an Angel of Light. Then, Satan and a third of the other angels rebelled against God; Satan wanted to be equall with God and was proud enough to think that he could be. God cast Satan and the angels that followed him out of Heaven and created a place for them called Hell. Hell wasn't created for people but for Satan and the fallen angels (demons). We have the power to defeat Satan. All he is guilty of is Pride, Rebellion, and tempting the human race. Satan (or his demons)doesn't neccessarily have an active part in our lives; he just attempts to persuade us to do the things that will hurt us the most- usually under the guise of doing what We want to do. The way to defeat Satan is also one of the hardest things to do: resist him and don't give into the temptation. It is so hard because he is so persausive and so sly. God says that He will help us to defeat Satan; we just have to trust and fully rely upon God.

God created the angels and Satan was one of them. Angels are very powerful. Satan's job was to guard the throne of God and he (Satan) decided that he wanted to be God. There were some other angels that wanted him to be God and there was a war in Heaven and Satan and the other evil angels were cast down out of Heaven to a place called Hell which God had created for them. The fact that Satan is an evil angel is the reason that he has so much power but that power was supposed to be for good. Satan turned it to evil.

satan only has the power he took from people. christ gave it back to us, but we never use it because we've been brainwashed into believe satan is all powerful and we are weaklings.

Also, satan knows the principals of God, the laws he set up governing the spiritual realm, he knows how to exercise his rights, however limited they may be.
