Vamos is literally "we go" in Spanish, but it's used in a few other colloquial ways. I don't really know what vamus is, but you might be referring to the americanized version of "vamos" that people from the US use in a slangy kind of way. Though, I've seen that spelled and pronounced "vamoose," so maybe "vamus" is something else in a different language. Do you have the context? Because that would help.
