Last year 8,000 cases of reincarnations were reported in India,many children stated their past lives which were validated ,because the persons they mentioned,had existed and had died few years ago.
All of them can be disregarded because of lack of science has not proved it through experiments etc. to validate it,
But great doctors have stated that Children whose age is 2+ or around 3 cannot memorise or remember symbols,complicated words,and even their own mother tongue.
Almost all the cases which I mentioned involved Children stating facts of their past lives in the age group of 2-3
so is there any among you who have an open mind and believe in the concept of reincarnation or transmigration of souls.

I was born with a very unusual name and it took me a while to learn to like my name (Moss). For most of my high school career I went by my middle name "Micah", which is a lot more Normal than Moss. Later, I just learned to not care, but just curious if other people had this problem.

Is it because they love God? Or are they doing it because they are scared to go to hell, or is it because they truely want to send God's messages to people?? What do u think?

Throughout history Christians are persecuted for their faith. Many Christians were imprisoned, tortured, killed, fed to the lions because they believe in Jesus.

Even in our modern times, Christians are being poked fun at, movies are being made to test our faith like Da Vinci Code, Jesus Christ SuperStar, Last Temptaion Of Christ etc.

What is the reason??? What have we done wrong to offend the world so much???

Is there anything that sounds as ignorant as "lol", "ppl", "rly", "ur", and other idiocies? What is wrong with those people who actually say "lol" when they're speaking? Do they know they sound like idiots? Is this where the english language is going?

We are in the house a lot...I am at the point of spanking them both because no one owns up to going to these sites...I down loaded a parental filter,but these sites keep coming up...one day lase week, I tried to go through and filter all the words and sites I thought would get through...but I have found more on the computer...what makes this tough is this is a home school computer that goes in for a yearly overhaul...what can I do?

First, I would like to say that I am an atheist. I don't believe there is a god and here is my beliefs on WHY people think there's a god. (I'm only 13 so I don't know if everything will be true)

I believe in the big bang and evolution theories and I think there's substantial proof in these theories.

In the ancient times, if people didn't know something, they'd make something up like mermaids (really sea otters ) and the earth being flat. So religion was born, it explains where we came from, and where we go. People don't like the unexplained so they use religion as a way of explaining things and also people are afraid of death so they believe in a religion. They use religion and heaven (or whatever their beliefs are) as an ultimate goal.

Now if there IS a god, do you think (directed at Christens) he would want us to follow ever word of the bible. The bible tells us a way of living, not exactly how to live it. I would think if there was a God, he would accept any good people.

I would estimate half the people don't care what global warming is. Within the other half, it's divided in half again as to if the problem's real or not. That is amoung non-scientists, scientists who study this are almost unanmious that GW is real. That makes about 1/4 of the people even concerned about it.
