lets say someone did something wrong to you,so you retaliate, even in an unappropriate way,(a low blow or a big diss),but they act as if they did nothing to begin with and its all your fault, their the victim in their own eyes and they try and make everyone else think that to! dont you hate that? ME TO!

I know that many of you will think this cant be answered in one word, but that is the key! Take the time, dig deep and narrow it down to just one word!! Its way to easy to answer it in a sentence, Try one word.

I am curious to what people think it means to Live Life in Truth. I know what it means to me. I would like to share my opinion but I feel that may influence the direction or thought path that one will take when asking themselves this.

I wish you all well and challenge each and evey person to Life Life in Truth! Our words and actions are like drops of water, they have profound ripples that travel great distances. Many times effecting people we dont even know in ways we are never aware of.

The world could use a few more people living in truth, can you imagine what the world would be like if we all did!

God Bless

A friend of mine was complaining that the College of Business at the local university teaches "evil." That we have a "School of Evil." I said "So?" He said "Good point." There's certainly no effectual reason to not be "evil." In fact I think there are several perks in everyday life if you are willing to be a little evil. Doesn't it seem that there is a niche for "evil" to succeed in society? Business is a great example. There is an advantage to lying, cheating, and stealing, at least to some degree. I think that means evil is an evolutionary trait. But then of course, everything is... Very dumb, sorry. S'late. I don't believe in evil, it's just a category.

I read on a website that blacks have it bad in life because of slavery. The fact that there's so much crime in the black community is because of some sort of generation-to-generation wounds from the slavery days. I would like to ask people what they think. There is a lot of problems in the black community. I'm not trying to stir up racist feelings. I am just thinking intelligently about it all. How come so many blacks still rely on welfare, and public assistance? Why are black kids known as "At-Risk?" What is the reason for gangs, and selling drugs? Shouldn't blacks be trying to help eachother get on the higher rungs of the social ladder? Too many blacks don't drive cars, who walk, ride public transportation, and ride bicycles. Look at hurricane katrina. TOO many black people were victims, because they couldn't get out of new orleans. They didn't have cars. WHY? They don't want cars?

Let's hear some intellingent answers.

How is it that the claim of Peter being the 1st POPE came about?
What about the APOSTOLIC PROCESSION? There were many, many years between Peter and the next 'Pope'.
If you have read the Bible, it clearly shows that Peter was not the Apostiles that held the most influence in the early church, but Paul.
Paul went to ROME
And the idea of the apostles being Peters bishops is equally unfounded, in both the bible and extra biblical, contemperary writings.
Paul rebuked Peter openly for his lack of faith and his fear of the converted Jews.
Jesus gave 3 disciples 'nicknames'
The 'sons of thunder', for their desire to call down fire from heaven, and 'peter', the stone, because of the revelation that he received.
the anticedent in the sentence upon this rock I shall build my church, was revelation, not a man.
The proof being that Peter had very little documented activity after Christ.
It was Paul, the one that picked up the Bishoprick of Judas, that was mightily used.
The Bible says so!

I know some of the Indian and Japanese people's original religion is BUddhism. So instead of the ones who has converted to Buddhism from other religions,I would like to ask my question to the originally Buddhist people.
I'm Turkish and I would like to undertsand and learn and practise Buddhism thouroughly.
I have read a couple of books but not directly about the Buddhist teaching.
I know about the Sutras...But don't know how to reach them.
So my question is,what is the best way for a person from another religion to understand and maybe practise Buddhism ??
How can I get to know the original teaching and how can find the right source??
What would you buddists suggest to me?
It can be though internet and books...
No way I can talk about it with a buddhist and the only people I have come to meet have been Hindus until now.
Do you think I can understand and become a buddhist if I learn it from books or any other wise?
thnx

As a Christian I think so. If someone had a different religion then me I'd be afriad of them turning my eyes from Christ. If I really loved them I'd want to convert them but BEFORE we started dating. I want someone who can help me with my walk with Christ.

I don't mind very wealthy people who are nice, but there are so many clueless children of wealthy parents that are rude, disloyal, and ignorant I just want to strangle them. For example, my child brought home a very wealthy kid (14 years old-my son's age) and he had no manners once he walked in te door, he was talking rudely to his friends on his cell phone and didn't want to play any sports with the rest of the children at my son's party....are there any children that you know of whose parents are very wealthy and the children are just horrible?

Evolution (that is upward evolution; macro evolution) requires new information being added to the genome. A cow can duplicate info and produce another leg, but to produce a feather (or even the start of a feather or whatever) it needs NEW information added.
Can anyone give me an example that WE HAVE SEEN where new information is addded to the genome?
