This guy at my work used to be really fat, and now he's average weight. EVERYONE compliments him on his success, but....a few people who know a little more about what's going on tell me he's a tweaker. What does that mean he uses?

I read the other answers and noticed that only one used the correct term for what a tweaker is. That one said Speed which can be used in pill form. All the others who said Meth are wrong because Meth is the street name for crack, which is either used with needles, snorted or smoked and is commonly cut with rat poison and lye which burns out the mucus centers and makes the user spit a lot. Meth does not make one thin, only speed has that ability.

Tweaker isn't a term that I use for people using drugs. Tweaker is a term I use when someone flips out for no apparent reason.

People usually lose weight by doing cocaine, but a tweaker is usually someone that uses meth.
