I thought in order to be the greatest of all, you had to be the servant of all. I thought that the poor and needy were closest to god, and that it is hardest for a rich man to enter heaven. So how do Catholics think this does not apply to the vatican? Have you seen the place? Its dripping in gold. I'm not trying to be rude, but it has never made sense to me. Wealthy religious leaders don't make sense to me, if they have become wealthy due to thier religion. I've seen a long history within catholisism of politics and money. This is not what I think God had in mind. I don't understand how a religion so draped in scandal could be revered as the true religion of God.

I want to have a more of an understanding of the way conservatist christians think, like why they consider homosexualism to be bad or to be a sin against god, and why they don't accept and allow homosexuals to be in their churches when christians are supposed to be loving and accepting of all people, as Jesus taught us to be, and instead push these people away saying that the only people they will allow are heterosexual people.

I started checking out questions in this category because people seemed friendlier and actually ANSWERED questions that were posted because in the other categories people just lecture you or criticizing you for merely asking a question!
Now I find that this one is just like the rest!
What is Yahoo!Answers for, anyway? I thought it was for people to ask questions and get answers or opinions from others who have "been there", I didn't realize it was just a forum for others to chastise you!

i mean, everybody has their point of views, but theres compromises!! siblings fight all the time!! it makes no sense!!!

I knew he had a christian background and its about time someone stepped up to the plate and help people even if there is zero political interest in that country. I dont want to hear we dont help our own either we do, its just most spoiled people who EXPECT handouts wont help themselves.

I am a muslims.. and when i asked this "doorgift" thing to muslims around the world, they (MUSLIMS) never even heard of it!!

Only in answer yahoo, i heard about it.. it so called a door gift for virgins women , or virgins heroes or whatever..

Who is this "so creatives people" who create this "doorgift thing"??
Why people like to CREATE STORIES ABOUT ISLAM and SPREAD LIES ABOUT ISLAM? Why they scared to know or to accept good stories about Islam?

This happened, not a joke.
I was well into a good drinking session in a UK bar, having a good laugh with an Irish guy. His wife came rushing into the bar and started on him, his dinner was ready, it was getting cold , how long was he going to be hanging about the pub etc!
The Irish guy was not at all phased, he just looked at her and said "Calm down woman, go and put it in the oven for 5 minutes, I'll be home in half an hour"!!

This is in the Bible, I recently found so.

"Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed...."(From the NIV Bible, Matthew 16:39)

That is the exact same way that Muslims pray, and Jesus was the prophet before Muhammud, meaning that Jesus observed the prayer rules of Allah.

And Muslims can't touch dogs because when Jesus was recieving an important message from Gabriel, dogs barked through the night.

What do you make of Jesus and his "Islamic" ways. I don't have the source for this next part, but in the end of The Bible [Genesis], it says that there is a Prophet to come, after Jesus.

What do you make of it all? Don't call me a liar, I gave you a source for the first statement, look in your Bibles tonight for yourselves.
