Who says we can't be Kings of our own lives? Life is a journey sailed--and in each second of our lives, WE choose OUR OWN decisions that affect our life's course.
As Kings of our own lives, not only do we make such choices; we also must accept the responsibilities for those choices and the outcomes which comes by our own hand--be such favorable or otherwise.
Other than death by carelessness, we have the power to change some facet of our lives that's not so good into one that's more livable--one we can in our own private way, shine through.

Why aren't you? It's a choice you make. If you give the power to someone else, then it's your own fault.
