On the other hand, I think you can understand why some people are offended by it or think it is a poor choice.
If you are going to pick something that is known to be controversial, be prepared to accept the backlash.

Did it ever occur to you that instead of just being concerned with what people think of you, you should also be concerned with how other people feel?
Did it ever occur to you that your avatar and your screen name offend, and thus hurt people?
You've chosen an incendiary avatar and screen name, obviously because you're 14 years old and want to get a rise out of people.
Please don't fool yourself into thinking your some kind of martyr because people complain about the symbols you've chosen to represent yourself. You know full well the impact they have. You made your choice, now stop whining about it.
Better yet, grow up and actually change your screen name and avatar so that it doesn't offend people.

I kind of feel for you...but you have to understand that not everyone will take that icon and name very lightly. That's just a fact. I understand that you shouldn't care about what other people think, and obviously, by your statements, you don't. But you realize people here are going to have fun with you.

hey man, don't worry, its freedom of speech, the US is fighting the whole world for this statement freedom of speech and choice. Hitler's intentions were clear, George W. Hey did you guys know the swastika is originally a Hindu religious symbol? Hitler and his folks stole it and turned into something ugly.
I was visiting a friend from India, and was admiring her shrine in her kitchen, there was this huge swastika in the center of it. I asked her about it and she informed me that before it became a symbol for hate it was and is still a Hindu religious symbol.
Do me a favor........spread the word!

Every one has there own believes, ideas and such. If you choice to present your self in this manner you are going to get problematic results to your questions.
One thing (if your from Germany), the times of Adolf Hitler were times of dispare for Germany. Most do not believe in his ways and have accepted the facts of the past and let bygones be bygones.
