It's the nature of things. Just look at human history. Better yet read the bible. It's filled with stories of war and killing.

Despite living in a prosperous country many americans are deeply unhappy. They work to get money in order to acquire material things which raises their status in society. Of course this is a trap because there is always someone with more and is judged "better" than you. Another problem is the growing gap between the "haves" and "have nots". The poor are unhappy for obvious reasons and that must seem unfair in such a country as america.
All this makes people cranky and disagreeable and they tend to bicker over anything and everything. Americans are never satisfied with whatever they have because they can never have enough. It can't possibly be their fault so therefor it must be the fault of another; either the authorities, the spouse, the kids, TV.... you name it. The people are suffering from social-wide depression. The nation is unwell and the government seems only to care about the wealthy and business. The current government is downright evil and the people must feel powerless to do anything about things, including their own plight. Meanwhile everyone gets more unhappy, more cranky and the claws are out. It would be best if people could wake up to the truth - money cannot buy happiness or status. Materialism makes for a cranky, bitchy society where all problems are the fault of everyone else.
My suggestion is move to Australia........

This question covers a lot of ground, but basically, the people of earth have bought into the big lie!! The lie simply is, "that people believe that they are separate from the All that IS" When a a person believes this, they think that their peace and contentment can only be achieved outside of themselves by convincing others! When one realizes that we are all a piece of the all, the person is able to allow others to exercise their freewill with out fear.
But one shouldn't forget self defense, but as more of the populace realize the truth, there will be less of a need for self defense.
Remember, "Truth IS, whether we believe it, or not"

Sometimes the verbal jousting in a good argument can be fun, and a nice friendly brawl can be a good way to let loose some emotions, but at heart humans are just another animal who wants to fight and ****. Mostly fight.
It's our nature to kick the crap out of eachother for one stupid reason or another, rather than compromise. And sometimes compromising is just not an option.

You're making such a broad, wide-sweeping generalization of ALL siblings, of ALL Americans who are SO spoiled... hardly worth comment, except for the 2 pts I'm getting answering a truly silly "question". Tell me your country and I'll tell you what many think of your people... tell me you age and I'll tell you what so many others think of people so young and naive as yourself. Show a bit of maturity... Americans have 'everything'?? We have an idiot for a president... take him, please!

We are not taught to compromise or to let others have their opinions without arguing. Yes Americans are spoiled. And we are taught to get what we want. Look at tv and the video games. Get what we want - no matter the price.

People don't always have to fight. I think the more time they spend on the computer and the less time they spend socializing with their friends and family the more likely they are to have poor social skills, poor coping skills and the inability to relate to other people. It takes practice to solve problems without physically or emotionally brutalizing one another. It doesn't seem to have much to do with how much money you have.

When I was young, me and my two brothers fought alot. I'm the middle one.
We have had fights and arguments ever since.
On topics like: Why I drink whole d milk.
Why am I painting my living room.
Why I let my son ride in the street.
Why I won't let them live on my couch till hell freezes over.
Why I won't let one steal a bunch of stuff and stick it in my garage.
Why I moved a ladder.
Why dad should be able to take his girlfriend to a funeral.
And why don't they ever pay me back.
They like to pull a weapon or two.
I've been maced, hit with chairs, branches, numchucks, belts, knifes, sucker punches.
Threats of violence against my wife and kids.
My kids have been threatened for not doing laundry, by my brother who lives in a pig sty.
I've managed to win almost every fight and argument.(90%)
Mostly because when I take their weapons... they run.
I have had concussions, bruises, loose teeth, scars, and almost a broken neck. (my brother twisted it 190 degrees, because I called him a crackhead)
It's mostly because their lives suck.... and they want to rule mine.

People dont have to fight... Its the one who thinks he is superior wants to have it his way and the lesser of the two has to submit and the anger builds within the one who is lesser for not being meted with justice and so tends to retaliate. .... which is then called a fight.
