The more you learn, the more you know, The more you know, the more you
forget, The more you forget, the less you know So.. why learn?

or is it something that disgruntled intellectuals coined to protect themselves from the reality that all the seriousness in which they take themselves is justified..

when i look into my new Born's eyes though most times he is happy.. his lack of knowledge is in no way blissful... not anymore so than my wealth of understanding is painful..

the truth behind this phrase is really quite zen... when you realize you are ignorant a certain bliss does emerge into your awareness... that is the state where true learning takes place.

Yes--but it all depends on what the ignorance is about. If it is about a relationship or money or job,,etc. then reality will find you out. So sometimes it is best to know things about the people and situations in your life.
