Hi.. well; i am not used to this country... so..
i was just wondering if the Americans often use the word "blast"
thesedays..... well.. answer me folkssss!!!

No, not really....except as a verb.

People who are about 40-50 and above do, but I don't think teenagers today use it. At least I've never heard any young people use "blast," as in "I had a blast at the party." I wouldn't say I hear it that often at all, but if you use it, most people will still understand what you're saying.

I think the only people that use "blast" as anything other than "to blast something out of the sky" would be those idiots who can't stand to curse so they say "BLAST IT ALL!" xD

As an interjection? like, "Blast!! My shoes have been stolen!" Not often. If they do, they're trying to be funny.

Sure. I use it with my church kids. I hear it used by my church parents. (As in...the kids really had a blast at last week's activity.)
