i understand everyone think his religion is the true one. but with this one (islam) it's exception. i am not guessing, or thinking or suggesting it's true. I know it's true.
it's true just like how u see the sun appear in the sky that this religion is truly from the God who created you.
(speaking from personal exprience and a miracle)

brothers, will you still deny Islam?

If a werewolf were on Jupiter, where there are two moons, would he or she transform when either of them were full, or when Earth's moon was full, or not at all? Does anyone have any theories on this, and any reasons why they think so? I know this is a really strange question, but I think it's interesting.

I just watched a documentary that claims Christmas and Easter are pagan holidays that were adopted by early christians. Easter was a pagan fertility festival that involved orgies and virgin sacrifice. Pagan rituals were based on seasonal / celestial events and the pagans used the first day of spring (spring equinox) for this. The main fertility symbols were the egg and the rabbit (as in, "they reproduce like rabbits"). I was skeptical at first, but then I started thinking about eggs and rabbits and how those two things DO bring to mind fertility (I grew up on a farm and rabbits really do just have sex all day!), and I could think of nothing that they would have to do with Jesus!

From the internet:
The ancient goddess, Eostre, a Saxon deity who symbolized new life and fertility, was the key symbol of this celebration which was also known as Ostara.

Does anyone know if any of this is true and what bunnies and eggs have to do with Jesus and God? Are we worshipping pagan gods!?

My parents were Jehovah's Witnesses when I was younger and I was forced to practice their religion. This gave me some problems later in life when I rejected their religion.

What are your opinions about Jehovah's Witnesses? Especially want to hear from people who have Jehovah's Witness parents but themselves are not Jehovah's Witnesses.

All of us in this section of yahoo would take a moment later when we leave our computers and are all by ourselves and ask this question: God if you are real whoever you are,and whatever the truth is would you reveal it to me? And see what happpens. If you do this for real it would be nice to hear from you. You could post an answer and add your results later before this question closes. Thanks for participating I'm really interested in the results.

He has a key and I don't want to move because I like the neighborhood and have lived here a long time. He has started this since my mom died(she lived with me). Any advice?

I have asked many uncomfortable questions of Moslems and received much abuse from them, as expected. It is a harsh intolerant religion. Now I want to ask this of Christians: How can you, who preach we should love our enemies and turn the other cheek, agree to the invasion of small countries, bombing their cities, destroying their water and electricity suplies (and so indirectly their hospitals) and killing thousands of women and children? How would we like it if it was done to us? (Do unto others as you would be done unto you?). And all this on the flimsiest of reasons, which keep changing as they are shown to be false?

True, our troops went in after the destruction and are doing their best to bring some relief, but it is too late and they are reaping the accumulated hatred. Surprised? The US is a Christian country. Should we allow our presidents to do these acts on our behalf?

i am muslim myself. and i will tell you, if you don't want to become muslim, then take Johava witness. they could be the closest one to the truth. however they still have mistaken that God has a son.

the problem with those who disbelieved Jesus or Moses or Muhammad is because they refues to listen, and insult the prophets of God of being liars, wrong, and witches. be open mind and listen to what other people want to say. maybe what they want to say will save you from a painful Hell, but u don't know.

Okay, I am not trying to advocate ANYTHING here, so don't think that, please.

What do you think about marijuana?

I saw on CNN recently where a man is considering opening a marijuana cafe (or something to that effect) at Fishermans Wharf in San Francisco. It got me thinking about pot.

I am a pretty honest guy, so I will tell you that I have tried it in the course of my life and I really did not think it was all that bad.

I mean, I did it like two days in a row a few years ago during a "party weekend," and I never craved it like it was addictive, and I thought that the "high" was quite pleasant.... better than being drunk because I still had my senses and could walk in a straight line!

So, what's the big deal? People drink legally and then go get in their cars and plow into a kid. People use marijuana illegally, but you never (or... RARELY) hear on the local news about a driver killing someone because he was high on pot.

Why would alcohol be legal while pot isn't?

Simply because a person has morals does not make them a religious fanatic or old-fashioned.
With the media throwing sex into our TV shows, commercials, news, music, and movies ever 6.1 minutes, (just throwing out a number), doesn't anyone see it takes away from the special meaning of sex and rots the minds of our youth?
Is it wrong for parent's to hide this sexuality from their children, or should they allow them to immerse themselves in it for life experience?
What do you think?
It is healthy to talk to your children about sex, no question about that, but what are the right and wrongs ways to do so in your opinion? Sex has a deeper meaning than just instant gratification for some people, right?

The last time I checked, God has not revealed himself as the creator of the universe. God seems to only exist in a person's beliefs and in their faith. Which is exactly what "faith" is. A belief in a God when there is no physical or actual proof.

Carl Sagan said this on his show 'Cosmos'...

“Our ancestors looked at the intricacy and beauty of life and saw evidence for a great designer. The simplest organism is a far more complex machine than the finest pocket watch. And yet pocket watches don’t spontaneously self assemble or evolve in slow stages on their own from say, grandfather clocks. A watch implies a watchmaker. There seemed to be no way, in which atoms spontaneously fall together and create say, a dandelion. The idea of a designer is an appealing and all together human explanation of the biological world. But as Darwin and Wallace showed, there is another way. Equally human and far more compelling.”

You have the option of one of two g/fs.

Girl 1 is not too bright, and, although she means well, can't keep her attention on anything (credit card balance, something cooking on the stove, the road, you). She is sensationally beautiful.

Girl 2 is (I know, you see it coming) a Phi Beta Kappa in Chemestry, and brings home a hefty salary. Her hobbies include baking competitions and football. She's got a sweet face, but she's quite fat.

Which would you marry?

And, thanks for playing the game!
