I have asked many uncomfortable questions of Moslems and received much abuse from them, as expected. It is a harsh intolerant religion. Now I want to ask this of Christians: How can you, who preach we should love our enemies and turn the other cheek, agree to the invasion of small countries, bombing their cities, destroying their water and electricity suplies (and so indirectly their hospitals) and killing thousands of women and children? How would we like it if it was done to us? (Do unto others as you would be done unto you?). And all this on the flimsiest of reasons, which keep changing as they are shown to be false?

True, our troops went in after the destruction and are doing their best to bring some relief, but it is too late and they are reaping the accumulated hatred. Surprised? The US is a Christian country. Should we allow our presidents to do these acts on our behalf?

As it may be seen from the replies received so far, some Muslims hate Christians even when they support their cause.

Please lets keep Religion and Politics separate. That is a very unfair comparison.

I would hope that if our president had rape rooms, and starved and tortured his people someone would come and help us also! You look at it your way.. all the doom and gloom. I will look at it my way. Look at when WE became a free and safe nation. There was so much death and destruction then, but no one cares about that. This will eventually be a wonderful thing, but as in all countries before Iraq it takes time and patience. Iraq was just let go so long that it is taking longer to get where it needs to and someday WILL be.

You conveniently forgot to mention all the food and medical supplies, and schools etc we are bringing to that country.

what do you suggest we do....do we sit back and allow the world to be run over by the terroristic acts of a false religion that caters to destruction on every opportunity that it has a chance.....do we ignore the cries of their own people who have been beaten and tortured and had family members murdered so that we can say oh we better not interfere or it will come down on us.....please the stronger one should always stand for truth and justice for all mankind and yes the war is hard and many are getting hurt and lives are being lost...but you act like this is something that is only occurring because of the war...remember we didn't start it...destruction has been their life for as far back as one can remember.....now a christian society has the obligation to help those bound by oppression ...Jesus brings freedom and we as a christian nation should stand against all oppression and help further freedom ...our troops are brave and they are doing a wonderful job....we need to support them in every way...unlike when we went to Vietnam.....as for the innocent in all of this...they have always been among it...and if justice is brought about then maybe one day they wont ever have to live oppressed again and then they may know true freedom as we have and take for granted daily.

Because these are not real followers of what their scriptures teach. There is a huge gulf of differences between some who merely claims religious affiliation and those who actually practice. It is unfair to tar everyone with the same brush.

George W Bush is no more religious than an atheist - all he cares about is the oil reserves in Iraq and Afghanistan. If that wasn't true then why do his troops not get sent in one of the African countries?

Well look not everyone in the US are christians and not everyone have high beliefs in what is right and wrong. The US do things many think we all must agree but it just does not work this way. Do you blame all teachers in the world when one can't teach? I don't think it is fair to blame so many over a few peoples actions. i do not stand for anyone who promotes hate hurting and killing anyone. but I am one and I have no say so as to what the government does or dont do.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

I agree. And if we ever gas our citizens, torture them and make films of them, then invade a neighboring area, like Canada, and China comes to their rescue, and we attack China, then I would HOPE China would kick our rear, because we would deserve it. And if we agree to a cease-fire, and then break it multiple times by lying to the U.N. inspectors and hiding all the WMDs we used to gas our citizens, and telling our allies that we still have them and look, how silly we make China look! And then shooting at random China planes that fly over the border between us and Canada, then I would HOPE China would kick our rears again.

You seem confused as the order of events. In addition, Christians, unlike Islam which still believes in the literal truth of it's holy texts, no longer takes it's Bible literally. It went through a reformation (several, in fact), one we hope Islam imitates since the passages on terrorism and war are frightening in the Qu'ran.

I think your question should be, " How could we have done this better". If nothing had been done, what would have happened? perhaps other muslim countries should have sorted the middle east problems out? Somehow I think that would have made things worse. Perhaps if they dealt with there extremists them selfs we would not have to go in to a foreign country to help them. It's a no win situation. deal with it?

The Christian 'faith' has been perverted, turned into a phony religion by the Ashkenazim Jews. Christians believe them to be the 'Chosen People of God', thereby demonstrating what kind of brainwashed fools follow Christianity.

If others need to tramp on our values just because they consider us Christians then we have a right to defend those values.
It is always RIGHT to defend others against evil.

Our President does what we give him the right to do, right or wrong, he is still our President and should be shown some respect as to who he is.
