You have the option of one of two g/fs.

Girl 1 is not too bright, and, although she means well, can't keep her attention on anything (credit card balance, something cooking on the stove, the road, you). She is sensationally beautiful.

Girl 2 is (I know, you see it coming) a Phi Beta Kappa in Chemestry, and brings home a hefty salary. Her hobbies include baking competitions and football. She's got a sweet face, but she's quite fat.

Which would you marry?

And, thanks for playing the game!

As it happens, I would marry neither, I'm a two time loser as it is. Besides, girl 1 is out from the start because I can't abide ditzy broads, even if they look like Venus herself. Given the second choice, while her academic cretentials don't frighten me, I'm not put off by the possibility that she may earn more than I do, and I love sweets, girl 2 is out because I'll not tolerate a fat woman who is more informed about football than I am.

PS Thanks for your response to my question about Dr. G. I think she is just realy neat. Her, I'd marry.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. In an ideal world, Girl 2 would be considered beautiful because of her personality and her wonderful qualities, not based upon physical attractiveness. However, realistically, most guys would probably date Girl 1 because of the physical attractiveness if it is just a completely superficial relationship. However, intelligence and beauty are relative. The ADD-like qualities of Girl 1 doesn't necessarily imply that she's dumb, whereas the sweet faced Girl 2 doesn't necessarily imply that she's ugly.

Of course, I'm not a guy and I wouldn't know what the hell I'm talking about anyways...

You are on to the irony of adult life choices and I wont lie! Most men will choose the bimbo and that has nothing to do with the education of the man given the choice. Personally I am more concerned with who can be a real friend and partner, and that is a more simple minded thing than intellect.

If you study some Eastern Philosophy you will find that love has it's counterparts in Compassion and Pity. Having said that which one deserves more pity? My awns er is the bimbo who none the less will show me more of the ups and downs of life and who I will feel the need to take care of which is a naturally pleasant feeling!

I wouldn't have either if I didn't believe she loved me. If I loved her then I would find a way to go beyond the faults.

In the end it isn't about looks; they are ephemeral and fade with time. It isn't about brains unless you are smart enough to realize that there is more to life than work.

It's about making the serious choice to live with another person through the easy AND hard times. Companions even when angry with each other. Compassionate evn you hurt and finding ways to stay compatible, nurturing each other's garden of life through love.

What's love got to do with it?

Everything

Wow, I'm a girl, just looking over these answers and surprised to see that many said #2. That's noble guys!! Good for you... It's nice to see that men value brains and skill more than a pretty face/body.

A lot depends on teh compatibility issue.

If the PBK has the personality of a wolverine on PCP, I don't care what she knows. I can always teach Ms. ADD how to focus.

I have to get along with them; everything else is fringe benefits.
