What is wrong with some of you people? What awful answers to a very serious question.

In answer to your question. Some can. It can make it more difficult to get aid from some aid organizations that are based in fundamentalism of some sort.

My partner's priest is presently sitting on a board, which I also sit on, which is attempting to establish a home for homeless gay teens (gay teens are often booted from their homes by bigoted parents).

I don't know if we will manage to get it started or not, but we are trying -- such efforts are fairly rare however.

So, yes, homeless people can come out -- but obviously it is somewhat dangerous within their already precarious situations.

i don't think coming out of the closet would be their top priority.
I'd think finding a place to sleep for the night without freezing their thush off and finding food would be at the top of their to do list.
but in case they do wanna come out of the closet, i think they still can, as homeless or not they are still human beings. and besides, its their freedom to do anything that they want.

I have never seen a gay homeless person becuase as gay people we care about out brothers and sisters and would never let them be out on the streets.
