God speak to people through many ways.
Since there are billions of us on this planet.
And God have his creativity in touch and a sense of humour.
We should not limit to God on how He should speak to us.

He spoke to Adam and Eve as your friend speaking to you in person.
He spoke to Moses through Burning Bush, Abraham through Angels and Fire. Samuel through dream and hearing audio voice. To Soloman, David, Daniel by dreams.
To Jesus by see what God Does. To Paul by light.
To the 12s, in person.
To some prophet by animals.

Therefore, God can speak to us in many ways.

Hold on... I need to answer a call....

"Hello" " who is it"
" Oh, Hello God! " " What up dude!"
" Ya ya, I know, I am on the net with Yahoo Answer. "
"What? You are coming for dinner ? "
" What do you like ? " " Passover bread ? "
" Geez, I don't know, how about pizza ? "
" I will throw in some fried chicken to boot, how about that ? "
" Great , see you, God "

That was God on the phone. He sure nice guy to call me and come over for dinner. Unlike some of my friend, they just drop in without a call. He such a gentleman to knock on my door too.

There, God. Nice guy. In many ways he can talk to you.
To me, is my mobile and by signs.

Aside from the written word God can talk to you
1. Through other people
2. In dreams and visions
3. Through the still small voice we call a con-
science
4. Through the nagging thing in our stomach we
refer to as our gut feeling
5. Through outward circumstances God can use
to get our attention
These are just a few ways I can think of off the top of my head, but let me use a concrete ex-
ample. Suppose you have to choose between
several good churches with similar/identical
beliefs, how would one choose. I would ask my-
self these questions, and I recommend every-
body else do the same;
1. What is my reason for attending this fellow-
ship? Am I harboring any hidden/alterior mo-
tives; ie, they offer a position for a paid pian-
ist, or there's a guy/girl I have the hots for. I
know this may sound suspicious but I've seen
people attend church for less honorable in-
tentions than these.
2. Do I trust the leaders? Do I believe they have
a hidden agenda? I know a Christian denomi-
nation which is so big on foreign missions it
makes it's followers feel guilty if they're not
involved in going to the mission field. The
older I get the less I've grown to trust this
denomination and the more I question what is
their REAL agenda for trying to send most of
its followers to the mission field.
3. Will I be able to attend services regularly
and contribute to the fellowship financially
and whatever help they might need? It does'
nt make a lot of sense to commit to a church
30 miles away if you don't have reliable trans
portation or if they expect a $500/month
pledge when you're working at MacDonalds
part-time for minimum wage or if this church
has 3-4 midweek services during primetime
while you're working,or taking classes, and
they expect you to be at all these services.
4. How well do I REALLY get along with the
other members of this congregation? The
first letter of John in the New Testament
explains how much a church loves God is
directly proportional to how much they love
each other. I would ask anybody if they don'
t prefer keeping company with other people
from their own church are you sure this is re-
ally the church you were meant to be at.
5. When I step back and look at the big picture
do I believe what I have to offer this world is
being utilized best at this church or are there
some other places my talents/skills could be
better used?
These are just a few answers I could think off the top of my head. I CERTAINLY HOPE THIS
WAS SOME HELP TO YOU! Usually I limit my
answers to 4-5 sentences but I believe on this
occasion I would be doing you and this answer
a great disservice making it any shorter.

God speaks to us through any means he sees fit. The problem
is we seldom understand him, or refuse to hear what he is
telling us. Prayer is a method we us to talk to God. We are
sometimes so self-absorbed with what we want, that we don't
care what God has to say.
But to answer your question,
Through our dreams, family, music and friends or sometimes
right at us out loud.
If you would like to know more, Ask God, He will know how
to answer you best. Because he speaks to us all, if we would just listen.

I find that sometimes the answers to some difficult questions seem to come to me when I pray for guidance. The answers are things I would have never considered normally and can be hard to accept, but they are there. Other times I browse through my bible and a passage catches my eye that applies to my circumstances. According to James, if you ask for wisdom with a pure heart, you will receive it. God bless you.

I know how he talks to me. That is through the Holy Ghost. Sometimes its just a little thought, others it is this uncontrollable urge that at the time you don't know why you are doing it but it becomes clear. Others he answers by things that happen in life, a job offer when you have't put out a resume, or the final push you need to go to school.

The prophets wrote what God told them to write. So if you read the scriptures you and reading what God said. He also talks to you through your spirit. You have a feeling inside you that it is from God. Dreams are another way he communicates with us. If it comes from a prophet it comes from God.
