Who are these jerks to push there beliefs to us and why do they get so violent when you don't believe? Aren't they suppose to be praticing peace and compassion? Why don't they just mind their own fu@king business and stop force feeding their BS to the rest of us? Seriously?

I heard that there's a place that's not as bad as hell that is made for sinners like theives and liars, but hell is reserved for the hard core sinners like murderers, adulturers, and homosexuals. Does heck really exist?

I live in a dormitory and yesterday I was getting out of the community showers and was in a towel walking down the hall to my room. While I was pulling my keys out to open the door, I noticed the maintenance man STARING at me (until I went into my room)... it made me really uncomfortable... I thought it was rude and wonder if I should report it. What do you think?

I get laughed at and made fun of alot because I choose to dress a little different than the crowd. No jeans and tshirts for me- too boring. I have experienced many things in my life that lets me know that when it comes down to it I have many associates but no real friends. I never did when I dressed in jeans and tshirts either so it just seems to be my life's path. I have come to the point that I really don't care if the illegal alien on the bus makes fun of me, or the obese woman laughs at my tights, etc. None of these people are going to be there for me if I need them, so why shoudl I care? I dress appropriatly for work and stuff, but on my free time I like to wear what I want. I'm 40 but who cares, I am alone in my life, so I don't have to follow anyone's dresscode.

I indeed believe there is a God. A good one at that. In my conception a God who is perfect neither needs nor requires our worship. God is comfortable and sufficently content in the self that God is. Now if by worship you mean focus I could understand, but somehow I do not think most who worship think of it as strictly a focus. I believe these people see themselves as inferior and not as being a friend like I believe the creator would want.

im really tired of seeing strait or full gay people say you have to be gay or strait,no in between,since when do they know how you feel or what you desire?i have come to the conclusion that they are talking out of thier ***,im tired of being told HOW I SHOULD FEEL!!im not surprised by strait people,but gays of all people should understand that you can be attracted to both sexes,also what makes people think they have the knowledge to know its not possible to be attracted to both sexes????it boggles my mind?to gays that think it doesnt exist,the same could be said about just being gay,STOP TELLING PEOPLE HOW THEY SHOULD FEEL,OR THAT BISEXUALITY DOESNT EXIST,YOU DONT KNOW HOW BISEXUALS FEEL!!!!

I dont understand this. Is it just part of American culture or what? I understand that were not NY or LA or alot of the bigger citys but other citys have the same problems we do, in fact more then we do. So many great things came out of here. Superman. Bob Hope, Halley Berry, the traffic light, Rock n Roll, Joe Walsh, the very first production line. I know other citys have great history and Im most likley going to get some dumb answers so if you have never been here you'll find that this is a great place to be or visit. I was borne and raised here and will die here. I love this town.

I usually do not get involved with questions about potical violence or Islam but I just had a thought after reading someone's question.

Do you think suicide bombers (they call themselves Maryters) would be MORE EFFECTIVE at accomplishing their poltical objectives if they only killed themselves?


Do you remember or know of the stories from Vietnam when Buddhists monks delibertly killed themselves (by pouring gasoline overthemselves and being burnt to death)? That had a HUGE impact on the psychie of the world and was part of what lead to the anti-war movement.

I think the reason most people around the world do not sympathise with suicide bombers is because they kill others indiscriminitly. What if they showed their sincerity by only killing themselves? I think the world would stand up and take notice of their cause.

Right now, almost no one really cares what there cause is.

Any thoughts?

I don't think they are standard Balkan. (I'm in Canada). In Biblical geneology Madai was one son of Japheth (who was one of Noah's 3 sons). Madai was the Medes, who formed the Medo-Persian empire. The Ukrainians have been identified as the Medes (Josephus etc). At least western Ukrainians. Medes are described by a bear in the Bible. But the Russians are now described as a bear. Where exactly are Medes, and does Hungary relate? In Ukrainian Hungarians are called Madiary. Note the name Darius as a Medo-Persian ruler. Ukraine has common names like Daria, Darevich.
