They are a cult. I know because I have a friend whose Dad is a shriner. Most cults show and publicize the good deeds they perform to hide their agenda.

This is a tricky subject. Behind the scenes they are an occult society with occult ceremonies. The Jewish religion is similar, using occult forms of blood (from Gentiles) sacrifices, meant to give them power over society. In the case of Jews it's to give them power over Gentiles. These groups have traditionally pulled the strings behind our governments. It has departed from Christianity or Old Testament teachings. They are actually not nice.

It's not a secret society. It is a fraternal order. You can join if you are an adult male. Most have public meetings that you can visit to learn more.
