Yes, Modern day Israel lives that way today. One hand on the sword for protection, while the other hand tries to build. Why does everyone in the world hate Israel? They are God's chosen people in the Old Testament?

All things have passed away , all things become new . 2nd Corinthians 5:17 We are living under the new testament so that is to be looked upon as an example .
