I have asked several questions related to religion, and some of the most mean and hateful replies come from people who claim to be Christian.
P.S. I am of the Christian faith.

These people that are responding with ugly remarks are not true to heart Christians. They might like to think they are! Life is to short to waste it on ugly neg side of life, God put us here to help each other not hurt each other. If there was as much love through out the world as there is hate this would be a wonderful place.

Judging religion by just a few of it's followers is like judging American citizens by the acts of it's polititions. I don't think Christians are all that hate and anger because of a few people spouting off in here. People need to look at the whole picture of the world, not just little pockets of it.

Not all who called themselves Christians are real Christians, but it's very true that Christianity is religion of LOVE.

Unfortunately there are many who profess to be Christian, yet do not follow the instructions laid out in the Bible. Or selectively interpret so that their lives are easier. These people are no different than the atheists (they both have good and bad).

Just ignor them. They may not even be Christians. There are haters in all religions and sadly, Christianity is no different. Humans are idiots sometimes.

Because most Christians have no concept of what it means to be a Christian.
As a Pastor I blame the charlatans that are preaching today and not telling the truth.

Claiming you are a Christian doesn't make you one. We are told in the Bible that we will be known by our fruits. Anyone who truly loves God will be convicted of their bad behavior. Don't forget that even men and women of God miss it, for example King David. The key is not to let their stumbling to cause you to fall.

Every person is sinful
Just because people are christians doesnt mean they are automatically good people. They should try to act with hate, but being a christian doesnt make them infallible

Because, "But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother hath need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?" NO, COMPASSION, NO LOVE, NO GOD IN YOU! Did Christ hate those that crucified, or mocked Him? He could not hate others, and neither are we too hate those that we do not agree with. This is not the same as "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." We must do this in the Love of God for others. In this way we (Christians) show the Love of God in ourselves.
