This assumes you've just lost a bet with your drinking buddies, and it's time to pay up as they gleefully watch you with a videocamera. Also, Fred, who is kind-hearted, has persuaded the others to allow you to pick eating a full cup of live earthworms instead if you just can't take the other two choices.

There are just too many good answers to be able to easily pick one of them, so I'm going to wimp out and put the question up for a vote now. :)

I would have to say either the slugs or the worms..these can be swallowed without being chewed first..cockroaches are too resilient..they might just try to crawl back up if they havent been chewed first

i would eat the cockroach. this is because if you eat the slug or the worm once you bite it, it still wingles around in your stomach. if you bite the head of a cockroach it will stop moving and it will go down easily.

yum yum may i have some ketchup with that

I think the cup o' worms is not kind hearted at all. But that aside I would go with the cockroaches.

I would pick the slugs, clearly not before trying everything in my power to get out of the deal. I imagine that they're slimy and they would go faster. I CANNOT STAND not even the picture of a roach let alone eating them. You see know I'm all paranoid. Thanks!

I'd eat the slugs. The 'crunchiness' factor of the roaches would be the difference.
