I did extensive research on the history and I now have reason to believe that the Chruch isn't the one true Chruch and was wondering if other may have done the same thing. If so where you deeply hurt to learn about the whitewashing the Chruch has done?

Why do you not understand conversion is a part of human nature!

Ads in the paper do it all the time
Billboards do it all the time
Friends (Peer pressure) do it a lot
Religious people do it.
Athesists do it
Gangs do it
Why is the fact that every does it in one form or another so hard for you to understand.

God doesn't give you more than you can handle, right?

Well I believe that everyone who believes that may be able to help me with this then!

I have mental health problems that I have had to deal with since I was 17. In 1996, I miscarried a baby. In 2000, I miscarried another baby. In 2002, my 9 year old daughter died in her sleep from a heart condition. In 2004 I miscarried another baby. In 2004 I had a preterm infant who has some serious eating problems still today. Now in 2006, my 6 year old son is in a mental health hospital and they are not sure when or if he will ever come home.

So my question is -- if it is true that God doesn't give you more then you can handle, how much does he think 1 person can handle?! I hate everything going on in my life and my life is really hard.

If you can help me figure this out - I will give you my sincere thanks, and 10 points!!

To me, it's really bullshit for people to say that regardless of how good you are in society, you will still go to hell- yet if your a serial killer you can still go to heaven if you merely believe in Jesus. Jewish people like me believe that when someone wrongs somebody, then that person needs to not merely repent to G-d, but also to go to the person and repent and offer compensation. This makes sense, because as Jews we believe everyone has a bit of G-d within them and that we must respect each other as being deserving. In spite of all this, explain to me why a Christian will approach a good person, who happens to be Jewish that he or she will go to hell if the major tenents of Christianity are not accepted.
