Yes, whether the demon is an external existence that takes up residence in our being or an internal mindset that possess us to behave in an evil or mean spirited manner does not matter.
Both require the power of God to overcome and having a person/people with a calling/spirtiual gift to pray for God to interceed is greatly needed in this world.
I wish the gift of exorcism was embraced by a wider group of Christians. I believe many more Christians have that gift then they know. Any who rates high in a combination of other gifts like; intersesory prayer, faith, intrepreting toungs and martyrdom probably have the gift of exorcism as well. What they need is trainning in it's proper use.
The Catholich should start a tech school.

According to the Bible(THE source on the subject), many people have been possessed by demons and many also have been freed by there possessions.
Demons are actually fallen angels(1/3 of the heavenlies)whom have followed Satan in his fall. Now, some are lurking the earth to possess a body so that they could try to destroy human kind, that is, the best of God creation. It started in the garden of Eden and they are still at work these days.
Most of the possessions are not visible to the point of some movie directors, but are still possessions indeed. Most of there works are done with false doctrine, mostly against Bible instructions. There doctrine will also bring doubts in the mind of people so they want beleive in God and in the one He sended to earth, Jesus Christ(see the gospel of John chapter 17 and verse 3 for the real purpose of God for mankind).
Exorcism is only possible by the autority of the name of Jesus Christ. He alone have received the autority over all heaven and earth, and He have given this autority back to those who fermly beleive that He is the Son of God and have laid there lives into His hands.
Now, just a word of wisdom: Don't try this at home unless your pretty sure of your relatioship with Christ!

Yes and I have seen people possessed by evil spirits and I was there when they were cast out ( exorcism ).
After the Minister had prayed over that lady I continued to pray in the spirit for her and that demon looked me straight in the eyes and did not like what was happening.
Needles to say that spirit left that woman.

i remember on ghosts because i remember on god, universe, angels, soul etc. i imagine the spirit international is basic, the inspiration. Then comes the recommendations and body. I actually have also had some memories that i will not clarify with my personal mind and that were very deep and existence-replacing. I actually have considered a ghost two times and felt it many cases. i'm no longer certain about demonic possessions because I not in any respect analyze them, haven't any ideas and performance not in any respect without delay encountered them, besides the actual incontrovertible reality that, i imagine schizophrenia, i imagine, has some similarities to "demonic possessions". per chance this is the way you call it, in some unspecified time sooner or later, i remember on it.

Demons and demon-possession is real. However, all Christians do not have to worry about it happening to them (us)!
Once you have given your life to Jesus Christ, your soul becomes inhabited by the Holy Ghost. In order for a possession to occur, the Holy Ghost would have to step aside to let this demon afflict us from within, and I can assure you that the Holy Ghost will never step aside to allow that. There is great peace in knowing that we have Heavenly protection and guidance.

Yes, and I think that it must be making people go around this site leaving stupid answers to questions. Such as answers that bring up topics that are unrelated to the question, like: Wasn't William Hung a little posessed when he was on American Idol? But, he was really funny on that episode of Arrested Development he did. Judge Law was on that episode too. He can really act!

if i tell you, then i'll have to possess you lol. maybe some are real. who knows? science can't explain why some of those allegedly possesed persons could speak foreign and ancient languages unknown to them prior to the supposed possesion. but i remain a skeptic because i havent looked deep into the matter yet.

No. I've yet to see a shred of testable, empirical evidence supporting the existence of demons.
