Why don't Mexicans want to go home to Mexico?

because their country suck, and their president takes all there money, there is no money for welfare. I believe that they need to go back home and fight for better rights insead of doing it here. If they put all the time they do fighting for rights here, they would have them there.

Mexican people are no different than any other people in the rest of the world. People all over the world want a better standard of living and because of media coverage they can see which countries have a better standard of living and try to go there. Some are unemployed or uneducated, they are oppressed and forced to work for pennies a day and have no hope of ever acheiving a better place in which to bring up their children. Those who are fortunate enough to get out of their own country and get into another country by any means either legally or illegally would rather die than return to what they have left behind.

Unless you are a very very young person, you already know why; you just want confirmation and affirmation for your statement.

It's pretty clear that Mexico's economy is suffering and that America offers a way out of a bad situation. But...what Mexico does not realize is that sooner or later the U.S. will overtake what they left behind and turn it into a guarded community for the wealthy.

Then they'll want to go back work there and it will be too late because the market will be flooded with American workers and Mexico will be the new "Beverly Hills".

They have trashed their country, now they want to trash ours. They complain about the US and praise Mexico...what gives? Look up what Theodore Roosevelt said about being an American.....if the "Mexicans" (quotes used on purpose as although the government of Mexico publishes a book on how to cross the border, yet shoots those that cross theirs in the south, kinda hypocritical eh? anyway ..they are not the only ones, not just Latin America, but most illegal immigrants) believed this and lived by this I would have very little issue with any immigrant at all.

Because they are economically depressed and working here, even though they will make substantially less money than a citizen would, they make enough money because of the living standards to which they are accustomed, to live and send lots of money home to their families, so that their families at home in Mexico can live really well.

That said, I wish they'd go home!

Why do you say they don't make any money here on welfare. Hello? That's one of the main reasons they are here! They have learned how to con our system and frankly, a free ride is one of the major factors that brings them to the US.

How do I know this? I work in a community FULL of illegal immigrants and I witness the abuse of our public assistance programs first hand. Anyone who doubts this is just plain naive.

Vincente Fox started to straighten out the federal government, but he can't do a lot about the local governments. When people work their butts off and can't get anywhere, they figure it's time to go somewhere else.
