don't say faith
if you believe because of faith, then since faith is belief without evidence you believe it's true, but you don't know it's true.

If Faith is not an acceptable answer, the only other answer is that there is no way that the Bible is 100% true. Especially the stories in the Old Testament of people living to be 900 years old, water dividing so people could pass through, and burning bushes. You HAVE to have faith to believe that the bible is 100% true. There is no evidence that everything in the Bible happened.

Faith is not belief without evidence.
Notice Romans 10:17
Faith comes AFTER the thing heard.
In other words, we prove things to ourselves and our faith is built up.
Proof bible is true:
In no matter what area the bible mentions, time shows it is accurate.
E.G.
Isaiah 40:22 refers to the 'circle' of the earth.
Isaiah was written 800 B.C.
It was only in 1492 that Columbus proved the world round.
Imagine ....2200 years after the Bible.
Job 26:7 says the earth is hanging upon nothing.
That was 1400 B.C. and it proved to be accurate.
Whether it be health matters, scientific matters, farming, astronomical matters or whatever, what the Bible says has been shown as accurate.
That's not believing without evidence, that's believing due to evidence.

FAITH! I don't care what you tell me not to say. The only way into heaven is by having faith in Jesus Christ. You want evidence, then just believe and stop questioning gods word, that is pure ignorance. I have evidence every time I pray and my prayers are answered because I believe that they will be. I have evidence every time I am in church worshiping and singing and I can feel the holy spirit in my body which is the greatest high anyone can ever have. Feeling gods presence and his holy spirit is the best feeling I have ever felt and I know that god allows me to experience these things because of my FAITH. It makes me really sad to know that some people will never experience these things because of their lack of faith. So if you want proof or evidence then simply believe, have FAITH. Believe, with your heart, have no doubts about it, and miraculous things will start happening in your life.

This may be an unsatisfying answer, but by the same method i know what i see to be true: by choice. You have to decide that you're going to believe anything to escape skepticism about it. There's nothing that can prove the truth of the Bible to you and force you to believe it, but there's nothing that can prove the truthfullness of your eyes either. What i'm saying is you don't KNOW anything to be true by your defition, everything is faith, the way you put it.
The reason i believe the Bible to be all true is because it is true about things in life i would have taken a long time to discover on my own. Things like what courage means, "he who would lose his life, this same shall save it." The point is i can either choose to believe it at 100% correct, or i can doubt it and throw away every single lesson in it because i can never be sure.

Well, I personally think that the Bible has some truth to it. Its hard to answer this question because the Bible was changed and has many different versions. If you take all three books of the three main religions in this world, i.e. Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, you will find many similarities. The Bible, Torah annd the Quran all have many similarities only because all three religions have similarities.

The reason I believe it is true is because from the beginning until present day there is not one prophecy that was prophesied that has not been fullfilled.

Jos 21:45 There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.

Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant. 1 Kings 8:56 (KJV)

It's NOT 100 % true; it's 98 % true. The other 2 % is translation or transliteration problems.

That's the point. You don't know... you just have strong enough faith to believe it's true.

It is not exactly. A lot of it is story or allegory; other things are fact. Some people, usually Protestant fundamentalists, feel that it is indeed to be taken literally. Other Christians look at it as a good book; but just a guide and incomplete at best.

because it says so in the bible which makes it true including the part about being true so if it wasn't true it wouldn't say its true which would mean none of it is true including the part about it not being true so it has to be true unless it isn't true which would make it not true . . . (breath) . . . oh the hell with it, I just have faith.
