I think God hates PETA

Noah's Flood is not a real story; it's a myth. It was an attempt to explain a natural disaster. There was never any universal flood, as far as archaeologists can determine.

The Bible should not be taken as fact. It is a book about how a certain group of people related to God, but it isn't "true" in the sense that it is scientifically verifiable. The Bible also talks about four-legged insects and rabbits who chew their cud, and there are no such animals.

I would rather care about the animals who are here and now among us than worry about what happened to the fictional animals in a fictional story.

Dear da-lux,

Animals have the breath of life just as man does. But animals, when they die, just go back to the elements contained in their bodies. Man, however, has a "soul" which can never be exterminated regardless of the physical body. If man dies without being regenerated (saved from his sins), he will spend eternity under the wrath of God in hell. Those of the Lord who have been born from above (saved; regenerated) will spend eternity with the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven. That is why when a "critter" gets ill and we have to put it to sleep, that is the best thing we can do--there is no more suffering for the animal.
That brings up another issue-abortion. We read in Pslams 51:5 that at the moment of conception that person is a person! That is why abortion is murder! If you would like further info on this topic (animals) type www.familyradio.com into your web browser. I hope this helps you.

Hi there,
I think we are, to a degree, too attached to the concept of physical existence. IMO incarnating into physical existence isn't too unlike getting into a car to go somewhere. The physical body is a vehicle for expression on the physical plane. Therefore I don't see the end of physical existence as being as awful as many view it. Many speculate that Noah's flood is actually the story of Atlantis and its demise. Ever contemplate on that idea? It was simply a time to wipe the slate clean to begin again refreshed without all the problems of the era. A chance to try again and get it better.

Innocent critters are suffering still today.
Innocent babies are being murdered by the millions.
Today a dog or spotted owl is more precious than an unborn baby.
This is just about to come to an end. Jesus is coming to put a stop to this.

No different than I feel about all of the innocent critters that die every day from road-kill. This world is not the same world that God declared to be "very good". Mankind has fallen into sin and death has followed.

A) Extremely glad that the whole story is a big, fat, fairytale plagiarized from "The Epic of Gilgamesh".

B) If it WERE true, I'd feel the same as when a forest fire started by a carelessly thrown cigarette turns thousands of animals, birds, reptiles, etc. into crispy critters; ie, right royally ticked.

1. It wasn't Noah's Flood, it was God's flood.

2. Innocence and guilt has very little to do with physical death. Good people die all the time.

3. God has dominion over all creation and may do with it as He pleases. Can I tell you what you should do with your property? You might even hear me out, then say, "Thanks for your opinion," and do what you were going to do anyway.

Creatures die on a regular basis. Lots of animals die each year as a result of floods, droughts and other natural disasters.

It is a part of life.

Lots of innocent critters die to feed human beings also.

The flood you speak of happened long before I was born. God caused the great flood because the Angels were mating with women here and having offspring who were Giants. God had to do what He had to do!!! I do not want to question God.

well then you would have to feel bad about the cows that get slaughtered everyday for our meat, the antelope that get eaten by the cheetah or lion, the termites that get eaten by the monkeys, the little mousy for the snake etc. There is killing in the animal kingdom everyday in order to survive. So no I don't feel bad cuz you're just gona be depressed all the time.
