I love studying what or why people tick the way they tick. We all know that one person who seems larger than life. What makes him/her shine, or if there is any underlying dark characteristic or quirk, what is it?

It is an awesome thing to imagine, and remember, he will come like a thief in the night, so no one knows when it will happen! It is possible it will be in our lifetime. Too much negative people on this site, so please, only repond if you are a believer!

"Sexual orientation begins with a myriad intertwining influences — some genetic, some hormonal and gestational, some the product of cultural conditioning.

The mix for any individual is impossible to unpick. No one acquainted with the science can still believe that homosexuality is a choice or a disorder. It is part of normal human variation, just like traits such as height or intelligence to which genes and the environment both contribute."

I was downtown the other day and a lady told me if I didn't give my heart to Jesus I would go to hell. Then she took me to the pastor (who was standing just a few steps away) and I was kind of peer pressured into pray and "giving my heart to Jesus". Then he wanted my phone number to make sure I was going to church. I had enough at that point and politely ended the conversation but why do people impose their beliefs on others?

Gorillas are drumming their chest right? and they also rub it in an up and down manner not sure why, but I have seen many men do that, broadening their shoulders to rub it like gorillas do.

"How clearly the sky reveals God's glory!
How plainly it shows what he has done!
Each day announces it to the following day;
each night repeats it to the next.
No speech or words are used
yet their voice goes out to all the world
and is heard to the ends of the earth."
Psalm 19:1-4

A Catholic friend of mine told me recently of the reason she converted. As a child she has to go to church to confess before she goes to school.
She was from a well off family and the only child.
Confessing means she has done something wrong but she often had to lie to the FATHER to make the confession worthwhile going for, till finally the FATHER realised there was something wrong when she asked for his forgivness as she hit her little sister ( She was the only child )..!
When asked by her mother why? I have to lie to finish off my confession to got to school and she has already run out of excuses ( material ) of confessions to tell the FATHER. This is a true story.

Ever since I was a little kid. I always daydreamed. I would look up into the sun and just wander. I would listen to the birds chirping and the quietness of outside, listen to the breeze of the wind slowly blow through the day and just let my mind drift. I would be so in tuned with nature I felt real good like a very relaxed lazy state. There were times I would reminisce over old stuff or just imagine myself in a place or as a position in life. Anybody know why people daydream?

"It was you who split open the sea by your power;
you broke the heads of the monster in the waters.
It was you who crushed the heads of Leviathan
and gave him as food to the creatures of the desert. "
Psalm 74:13-14 ( theres many more refrences I know but this is the one I came across)

Was this a real creature, or was it supposed to represent something else?
Do you know of any other creatures in the Bible like this?

the bible says the world is about 5000 years old. carbon dating by real educated scientists prove bones and earthly remains of 135 million years or more. if we can ignore scientific facts in the name of god and blind faith, is it a wonder that people can even kill innocents as long as they believe it is for their god. 9/11 some mormons impregnate very young girls in the name of god. some christians kill abortion doctors, in the name of god. look at the jews and muslims in the gaza strip. Its their god given right to kill each other. we as americans arent that bad usually. we just raise, slaughter, and eat animals, use up all the earths natural, non-renewable resources, and beg money from poor people to build churches of marble and gold, IN THE NAME OF GOD. see how silly this is. we used to think the sun was a god and the world was flat. jerrysizzler420@yahoo.com please tell me why believing in a spirit in the sky has merit. Imagine.....John Lennon j.sizz
