Yes, you can. Call your local parish and you can make arrangement to begin the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) process. There will be classes to learn about the faith. At the end, you can recieve First Communion and be Confirmed at the Easter Vigil Mass.
You might also want to look for a Courage group. Courage is a Catholic support group for homosexuals who are trying to live chaste lives.

Yes. You should get into an RCIA or RCIC program as soon as you can to receive your first communion. At your age, depending on the rules of your diocese, either one may be appropriate for you -- Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults or for Children.
Being gay is not a sin. As long as you are not sexually active, it is no impediment to receiving sacraments. Receiving the sacraments may provide some really serious help in dealing with your situation.

Yes, there is no upper age limit to receiving your first Holy communion. Or your second, or third, or ...
The Catholic Church also believes there is nothing sinful about being homosexual. But homosexuals like all unmarried people are called to celibacy.
The Church specifically says homosexual people "must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided."
With love in Christ.

there is not any longer something to do about it because you've not got any way of somewhat understanding that she did not flow to confession about it. possibly she advised you she did not, yet per chance that became unfaithful. for many human beings, confession is an embarrassing element. per chance she became ashamed to admit it. If she's no longer at peace about it, then she could see a counselor. In each and every state of the U.S. except Iowa, there exists a Catholic counseling company she might want to flow to because it type of feels to pertain to her faith. clergymen in many circumstances actually have some counseling guidance and if one is provided, they could change into what's termed a religious adviser. they in many circumstances meet per week or 2 weeks or once a month - in spite of priest and man or woman agree on. edit in - receiving communion is a thanks to get carry of grace, besides the undeniable fact that it does no longer wash away all sins. in reality, if one is contained in the state of mortal sin (which could contain abortion), then receiving communion is an extra sin because one is receiving even as no longer already contained in the state of grace - i.e. unworthily.

Sure you can. Merely being gay is not a sin. Neither Jesus, nor His Church, want you to keep away from the Holy Sacraments simply on account of your sexual orientation.
At the same time, it is important to understand that you are called to chastity; meaning even though being gay isn't a sin in and of itself, homosexual acts are a sin against chastity and must be avoided.

get away from religion as soon as possible.
Save yourself before it is too late.
Don't let those narrow-minded nutjobs try to fill your head with 800+ year-old fairy tales.
Science and humanism are your answer. And a little perk: neither of these things will hate you for being gay, unlike those wacky Catholics.
