I love studying what or why people tick the way they tick. We all know that one person who seems larger than life. What makes him/her shine, or if there is any underlying dark characteristic or quirk, what is it?

One thing that always comes up when talking about what makes a person likeable is that they listen to others and don't just blether on about themselves all the time.
Confidence is also an attractive quality.
(It doesn't matter how nice a person you start off being, if you become a politician you will become contaminated by scuminess and everyone will hate you)

depends on each individual perception. For some persons some persons might be heroes. For example I cant understand why anybody would even watch football or would consider a cricketer thenir hero.

So it is something to do with each individual brain wiring. What person may be likeable to one may not be for another.

I've been trying to answer that myself. I've been many places and people always seem to like me and I don't understand it. I'm usually not very friendly to people lately, (just move and I'm 14, wanna go home =\) but no matter what I do they all want to talk to me still. It's actually kind of bothering me.
