Every now and then while watching the news I get irritated at the fundamental hypocrisy of some pinheads roaming the streets of this country. Today my question is about gays getting married. To hopefully stave off idiotic questions; no, I’m not gay; yes I’m married to a woman; no, I have never been divorced and yes I am a Christian. That being said, here is my question. Does the bible not say in Matthew 5:32 “… whoever divorces his wife causes her to commit adultery and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery”? I find it odd that the same people that state that homosexuality is a sin are the same people who have been divorced, remarried, cheating on their spouses and everything in between. The bible is clear that divorce is a sin, why aren’t they trying to amend the constitution to ban divorce; there is no ambiguity about it in the bible? I would love for any divorced person that is against gays getting married to explain to me why they are safe from hell and gays are not.

Evolution in a broad sense, that is to say incremental improvement. Think beyond carbon based, DNA encoded corporeal manifestation. Could another lifeform have beaten us to the punch?

ok. your significant other is moving,, has 2 neighbors, one of wich happens to be their babysitter,, other is unknown other than its a married couple with child. From what information that makes its way to you from your significant other is that the "other" (the opposite sexed one) neighbor makes a comment to the babysitter that the "new tennant" is hot. this "creeps out" the sig other for some reason.. days go by,,,no new info,, well your with your significant other and the creepy neighbor happens into the situation.. your significant other, in a mild way, lights up, and they converse like friends to an extent.. but the last you knew was that you significant other was "really creeped out" , but now they are buddys.... and turns out, they've talked well more than once... what would you think?

On May 10, 1994, Gacy was executed in the State Penitentiary in Joliet, Illinois, by lethal injection, after finishing his last meal consisting of shrimp, fried chicken, fresh strawberries, and then fries. His execution was a minor media sensation, and large crowds of people gathered for "execution parties" outside the penitentiary, with numerous arrests for public intoxication, open intoxicants and disorderly conduct. In an unusual display of gallows humor, the so-called "Gacy's Day Parade" (a parody of the "Macy's Day Parade") ensued. Vendors sold T-shirts and Gacy merchandise, and the people cheered at the moment when Gacy was pronounced dead.

It's really very epic and heart warming. Like the end of Fantasy novel, in which people celebrate the slaying of a monster.

They also say there was a complication regarding his execution, and that it took him twenty-seven minutes to die.

All of this is in reference to John Wayne Gacy (the famous serial killer).

Really need a prayer said for us, as I am losing hope fast. I've even listed on the saveme site. Thank you

Colossians 1:15-17
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Is personal interpretation the reason there are SO many Christian denominations??...we must look at what the Bible says about the common person interpreting scripture...
..."you should know how to behave in the household of God,which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of truth." 1Tim. 3:15
"Know this first of all that there is no prophecy or scripture that is a matter of personal interpretation." 2 Peter 1:20
My point is that we have to look at the original church fathers [THE CATHOLIC CHURCH] who assembled the Bible and interpreted the Scripture for us. Wut do you think>?

While reading the Qur'an, everything is translated into english except for Allah. I know Allah is arabic for God, but in my translated text it still refers to God as Allah. Just curious.
