Caucasian genes like fair skin, light eyes, light hair, and delicate features are recessive genes, not dominant ones. Get it right, crack open a book and read for yourself. Also, who said she's talking about White/Black? She could be talking about Indian/Hispanic or Persian/Chinese for all we know.
Mixed marriages are a beautiful thing, I love seeing it. And yes, the children come out so lovely! Sometimes there is a problem with family members who have a problem with such an arrangement. Hopefully these family members aren't the potential in-laws, because that would be the worst. If these family members are not potential in-laws, then they can keep it to themselves. Mixing is a beautiful thing.

I am currently in a bi-racial relationship and I don't see them as being a problem. Our baby is also bi-racial. As far as I'm concerned people who say derogatory things are the ones with the small minds. As long as you're happy you shouldn't worry what others have to say about the situation.

I feel it's not a problem if both love and respect each other, and are understanding toward's the others relatives. I am a caucasion American guy, which basically means I have 50 or more blood lines in me, lol. I dated a black girl for a couple of years and would have married her if things had worked out. I think it should be more about the love you feel towards one another, but having consideration for the family members that might oppose it. I date black men, have a bi-racial child, so I'm sure my future husband would be black.

for nowadays..
we have 2 type of think pattern upon this topic..
1. people who can take that kind of marriage,
2. people who still have a primordial view of their own races.
but for myself..
as a chinese-born-indonesian..
i think bi-racial marriages is a bad idea..
in indonesia particularly..

I have no problem with it, in fact I encourage it. I believe in the gray theory, simply stated that if we mix up all the races and colors of people then everyone eventually will have all the skin colors in their blood and people could not hate each other for being white or black or yellow or brown, because we will all have those blood lines in us. If you are in love with someone of another color I say go for it, raise your kids to be proud that they are in the human race, and not black white or any other color.

I don't care one way or the other as long as the wedding gown is nice. I have a problem with women buying gowns that don't look good on them. I have a bigger problem with the sales people who don't talk them out of it.
