door. My apartment is very high crime and I presume that most of it is random crimes of opportunity. However when I was robbed , my next door neighbor was standing outside watching. As I waked across the parking lot he was looking at me and then another guy came frombefhind a care and held a gun to me. I gave the guy my purse and he ran away and as I went to my door the guy just kinda grinned at me and didn't have a normal reaction I would think you would have if you seen a crime. The police tried to ask him questions (I know he saw the guy because I could even describe him somewhat) and he said "no english" and closed his door. I know my neighbors didn't like me because I am white (everyone here seems to be Central America) and the woman would get mad when I would ask her to let me get by on the stairs (she used to sit all day on the stairs). They moved a month after the incident. I have always thought it was a planned job though and it kinda creeps me out.

I asked Christians, "What evidence do they have that spirits can think?"

The following so called answers that Christians gave were not even answers and had nothing to do with the question at hand.

Christianity is all about faith. Note: This has nothing to do with evidence that spirits can think but this person is suggesting that I shouldn't even be asking the question

There are spirits right now confusing your brain. Note: This is not an answer but an attack on me for asking a question that this person can't answer.

God is real. Note: This is obviously not an answer because it has nothing to do with evidence that spirits can think

You lack the ability to define what is is Note: This is not an answer to the question. If I could define it, I wouldn't be asking the question.

Spirits are made up of all kinds of unseen things. Note: This is telling me nothing so therefore, it is not an answer

Are they still the children of the father--do they keep his name? If the marriage no longer exists, what happens to them in the Church's eyes. Because we all know many annullments occur after many years of marriage and children.

Quran 5:17 - "In blasphemy indeed are those that say that Allah is Al-Masih the son of Maryam. Say: "Who then hath the least power against Allah, if His Will were to destroy Al-Masih the son of Maryam, his mother, and all, everyone that is on the earth? For to Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between. He createth what He pleaseth. For Allah hath power over all things."

To be a Christian is to follow the teaching of Jesus. Jesus never taught to kill. Therefore the Crusaders were not Christians. They just called themselves that.
I'm just sick of answers that say..."look at all the killing that Christians have done."
A Christian has not killed anyone. Only those who "claim" to be a Christian have.
Find in the Bible where Jesus taught his disciples to kill in the name of Christ, and then I will believe you.

As you walk up the steps to the building that houses the U.S. Supreme Court you can see near the top of the building a row of the world's lawgivers; each is facing one lawgiver in the middle who is facing forward with a full-frontal view-Moses who is holding the Ten Commandments.

I'm looking for some symbols of bad luck to incorporate into a tattoo...(so spilled salt really isn't something I want to hear...hehe)

I've heard that 5 leaf clovers, crossed knives, owls, 3 butterflies are symbols - but I don't know if that is true or not and I was looking for some other suggestions too.

Thanks!

I've seen several answers lately where people are saying that Homosexuality and Autism are related some how. Can this be true? I know autism & ADD have many common characteristics, but have not heard this one until recently.
