I don't think they're annoying if they've actually been through a lot of things and are actually depressed. However if they act emo and start cutting themselves in public just to fit in with a bunch of other emo kids then i think they're annoying.

why does it matter what people wear or what people feel. I'm sure, although you may not dress in the "emo style" you probably feel the same way they do sometimes.
I personally try not to use such steriotypes. People have called me all sorts of things from punk to emo to goth to gamer and nerd but I don't consider myself to be anything. I am just me.
Why would you judge who a person is by how they feel and what they wear?
Why would you wish harm or dislike a person because of such reasons when they have not done anything to you personally?
keep in mind this fact, I am usually not a happy person. I like my life but I find that life itself is pointless and I don't believe that its really worth living. I don't go around smiling at people, but I don't go around telling people I hate the world, although I admit I wouldn't deny that I dislike people as a whole. I wear all black because I like the color, I wear chains because I think they look good. I grew up in a happy home for most of my life and I have felt this way the whole time, not just recently. Do you hate me now because I am not like you? Or maybe I am like you?

HAHAHA!!! All of my friends and I make fun of them. They're an odd group of people I must say. I think that it's just because they were deprived of attention when they were younger so it's a cry for help. I wonder what they are going to look like when they grow up!!! All of this emo crap is with the youth right now...

what makes them annoying is the fact that they never smile and always act depressed but the truth is, is that they are a product of rich families and all they want is attention. They make fake sucide notes and leave them out so their parents can find them... if u wanna see a funny clip of emo kids.. go to break.com and the title of the clip is " I must be EMO" its friggin hilarious!

God, yes. Most emo kids are goth-poseurs. If you're really depressed, you don't have to f*king TELL EVERYONE ALL THE TIME how much you hate the universe! DEAL WITH IT!! JEEZUS TAPDANCING CHRIST! Go to a f*king guidance counselor if you're so damn depressed! That's what I did, and now I have lovely medication.
