I'm looking for some symbols of bad luck to incorporate into a tattoo...(so spilled salt really isn't something I want to hear...hehe)
I've heard that 5 leaf clovers, crossed knives, owls, 3 butterflies are symbols - but I don't know if that is true or not and I was looking for some other suggestions too.

if this is gonna be a big tatt, yopu could have what appears to be a room with a person huddled in a corner with a broken mirror above there head, a lader infront of them, like they are sitting under/behind it, and on there shirt put 13 and sitting next to them a blk. cat. a tatt of a room of horror!! but like i said i hope it's gonna be a big one! but if u pick a blk. cat, be warned i have read that blk. cats bring there owners happiness and joy and this is true to me, i had one(pandora) and i was/am happy. good luck.

A single magpie symbolises sorrow/bad luck. Although im not sure you would want a magpie tatoo forever, believe me i had a goldfish and now im stuck with the little orange fella lol

You could get the symbol for "4" in Chinese.
