CON SIDE STATES:
-Our society has turn out to be accustomed to what people believe is “normal” by their religious beliefs and traditions. Therefore legalizing same-sex marriages doesn’t benefit our society. The issue of same-sex marriages has created an uproar in our society deciding whether or not same-sex marriage should be legalized. There are a number of reasons as to why a number of people oppose the idea of same-sex marriages; one of which is that some people in our society believe that it is not natural to be married to someone of the same gender.

and other things related to same sex marriage being not being defined as a norm, blah blah

..
what kind of questions can i ask that person to make that fool stutter.. i have some questions.. but they can easily have a rebuttal for those..
can someone help me find a questions thats like OOOOOH.. what is that person gonna say...
it would be great if the con side would be speechless!

i know my relatives r well meaning, but they keep sending me fundamentalist Christian emails, which i have no desire to recieve, as i'm very happy w/my own religion, wicca. i haven't told them i'm wiccan, but i'd think the fact i haven't attended church in 4 yrs, and have been out as a lesbian for 3 should tell them something.how do i politely tell them that i don't want that sort of correspondance, and that nothing they do will convert me? i still want to recieve emails from them, just not religious ones.

I work for conservative Republicans in a political job. They're not generally receptive to different ideas or to people unlike themselves. They've always known me as Christian and conservative, like them. I'm considering studying Scientology because I've read a couple of books by L Ron Hubbard and found them very helpful. But I may not do it if it would hinder my career in the future, considering they find out.

Unfortunately I think I may already know the answer to this question, but I want to ask and see what people think.

I feel that calling women "females" is degrading and insulting. Calling a woman a "female" makes it sound like one is referring to an animal, not a person. Why can't a woman just be a "woman?" Or maybe a "lady"...
