My spouse of 12 years died Jan 05..and I feel like a major part of my world died with him. The old saying time heals all wounds has some merit, to a point. I still have days when the grief is all consuming, and other days things are fine. I still have small kids that need me, otherwise I often wonder if I'd have the desire or need to carry on alone.

I don't know how 's that feel coz I haven't a husband yet but I guess read some psychological books about how to get over that kind of pain could be help, and you can try to do something else to let yourself be busy that could help you to forget the desponding things, that works, but only temporarily,to read the psychological books is the best choice.anyways hope you getting better soon.

Depends on what you mean by lost your spouse? I lost my spouse by divorce and it was the greatest thing that ever happened to me.

If you're talking losing your spouse to death, I can't answer.

I thought my life when end when I got divorced, but I was far from wrong. My life just began again when I got divorced. If you lost your spouse by death and loved him, I'm sorry, Can't answer that question.

no way when you get married and she still is sleeping with other men besides you and breast feeds a 30 year old son . you throw a party and go out and buy yourself a steak and a motel room and celebrate the ball and chain is finally off.
