Of course it's okay! Faith (or lack thereof) is a very, very personal thing, and nobody can decide it for you. If you're interested in doing so, you could check out some books on different religions from your local library, and maybe you'll find something that interests you. If you believe in a god but don't agree with religions, then you can even make up one of your own- worship the way you want to worship. It's absolutely okay not to have a religion, too. It's all about what you do or don't believe, not about what you call yourself.
If you don't believe in any gods, then yes, you are an atheist. However, it seems to me as though you would be better identified as agnostic, which means that you're just not sure what you believe right now. Good luck. :)

Perfectly OK, not to have any religion. Really, the Supreme (if there is One) , has to be more pleased with you, since you are really innocent (not corrupted by another's religious teaching or impositions) ! But do keep an open mind , to avoid the possibility of missing a great experience. Please do not get caught up with the definitions of atheist, and get stuck to one of them. Look at atheism as merely refusal to 'blindly' follow an imposition. Instead, be receptive to life experiences as intensely as possible, and I am sure a greater/newer dimension of life will unfold much beyond the limitations of these sense organs ! Best wishes.

You can do whatever you want. You ultimately decide what you believe and what you don't believe and it's all based on things that you have experienced in life. If you hear about a religion that intrigues you, look into it...you may find that you agree with their philosophy and you may find that you don't.
I personally don't agree with organized religion. I have things that I believe in and I don't feel comfortable squeezing my beliefs into a label. That's what I have found is right for me. If you are younger, be patient, it takes time to figure some of this stuff out and it's something that you will find yourself constantly re-evaluating.
If I had to sum it up on one sentence, I would say....Do your homework and keep an open mind.

if you feel you have no need to be religious you can.But let me tell you this ,i believe that the faith is in you but you just want to suppress that feeling that you have faith.
Atheism, in its broadest sense, is the absence of theism (the belief in the existence of deities). This encompasses both people who assert that there are no gods, and those who make no claim about whether gods exist or not.
Many people who self-identify as atheists do tend to share common skeptically concerns regarding the evidence (or lack of evidence) of the world's many deities and creation stories as well as questioning the goodness and morality of religions that have brought us such things as holy wars and inquisitions.Indeed, atheism is inspired by many rationales, encompassing personal, scientific, social, philosophical, and historical reasoning.
Although atheism is commonly equated with religion in Western culture, some religious beliefs (such as some forms of Buddhism), though not often so identified by the adherents, have been described as atheistic

No matter what anyone says, your spiritual relationship is a personal matter and the only one who can decide what you wish to believe is you. It is not wrong or evil to not believe, An atheist is one who does not believe in the existence of a Creator, but that belief is neither wrong or evil either. It is a personal choice.
Because a person as no faith, does not necessarily mean they are an atheist, it can mean that they just do not believe in religious dogma.
For the person who said atheists believe in satan. Not true. If one does not believe in a God, they do not believe in a devil who was a former angel of that God.

In The Book of Acts. It says: A man can have a religion, and not be a Christian. a "Religion", means nothing to God. Religion is just a word.
There are 2 types of people according to God Himself. There are the Believer's, and unbeliever's.
Either your a Christian and saved through Grace in Jesus Christ, or your not.
If your looking for a "Religion", for a name to have. You have one now. Your a "Unbeliever".
Hope this helps. Have a nice week.

this is okay im not religious, i do believe just not what others want me to believe, if you dont feel rite to religion, it doesnt make you less of a human to anyone else, it just means that you have the ability to be openminded to exactly what you believe, with all the religions and the da vinci code now i dont know what to belive either but just believing in god or that his there is enough for you to be of purpose to him.

Being without religion is bad in some peoples eyes, but correct in others. Only your heart can dictate to you how you truely feal about something. To be without any religion means to believe only in the destiny one makes for ones self. Athiest, to be a true Athiest, is to not acknowledge any supreme being for any reason. If you believe there is a God, but do not know what religion is the truth, you are not an athiest. And it is acceptable to believe in your abilities and not in the help of God. But it is always nice to know that God is watching over you.

As an Atheist, I think its OK to be non religious. because I have no physical or personal proof to persuade me to have faith. in the future u may change ur mind after experiences, and same goes for me. But as of this time, im not religious either. Ppl change, u can change to be religious later in life.
But u can choose be atheist, spiritual or Scientology i think are the ones I know of that are not religious based ways of showing ur religious beliefs.

I don't do religion well because they tend to be stodgey or stuck on themselves so I am a partner with Joyce Meyer Ministries. Joyce has taught me more about how to be a believer than any church or religion I tried before. I used to not believe in God because I had lost hope and faith but thanks to Joyce Meyer for ashowing me the way to get there, I am now growing past the baby stage and learning to be a real true follower of Jesus Christ.
You have to do what your heart says and not worry about what people think about you.
