I hate people like that, dammit. Well, I think it's funny that opposite sex marriages are held up to the norm when heterosexuals aren't exactly doing well on the marriage floor. What is there left to ruin when most couples divorce these days?
And also, what do they mean we need more people to reproduce, if 1/100 people are gay, that leaves 99 people to add to a 6 billion, plus population.

Do you live in a theocracy? If not, why is religion deciding the law.
Take a look at the definition and purposes of marriage, in terms of history. The one man/one woman marrying for love is a rather recent development in the West; it arose around Victorian times. Prior to that, marriage was primarily for transfer of property. Look back further, and you'll see that a marriage was one man/multiple women; depending on the culture, of course. It's still that, in some places. The idea that marriage has always been one man/one woman for love is a fallacy of those who take everything they're told at face value.

if you are for gay marriage, counter this argument.
why should society support with their tax dollars gays in their perceived depravity? that's the key issue. the majority of people are not gay so you cannot force people to your viewpoint. the fact is that gay marriage is not the norm. and never will be. you're dreaming if you think you can make people speechless, the fact is the more you argue, the more people will resist. wake up!
BTW you asked i answered.

what ever, pretend to get married all you want it isn't real. Thank God you can't have children, but unfortunately you can make some one else do it for you. I just don't get it . What part of "tough shall not" don't you get.
As far as I know GAY is not a religion.
You know it isn't about marriage at all it's about acceptance, more than that it's approval. NOT going to happen.

I really dont see how its anyones business who marries who. Unless someone is going to be sleeping in that bed with those people- its none of their business. I personally find it creepy that so many people are so obsessed with other peoples sexual preferences. Its downright perverted to care if you ask me. And if anyone dares to bring up the whole "creation" issue- ask them if barren women and men shouldnt be allowed to marry either. Im not sure how religion even plays a role in the whole argument since our country is supposed to support freedom of and from religion. hmmm.... all these "religious" people so damn concerned with other peoples sex lives. thats just too creepy. people should mind their own business. perverts.

Hey jorginson, why should gay tax dollars support your life style. Or support all the kids that the hetero father or mother has dumped on society. Yeah you "normal" types are doing a fine job.

You might start with the question " When did we start letting the fundamentalist few tell the rest of the country how to live. the country was founded on religious freedom, not persecution."

I believe you are looking for a comment/question in favor of gay marriage. I would just ask, "how does a gay couple's marriage directly effect YOUR life"? It doesn't, so don't worry about it!

I think if same sex people wish to get married let them. It's none of my buisness what someone else does. I certainley do not have the right to judge.

Gays cannot have children of their own, so they won't be contributing to the human population growth that is destroying the planet.
